June 6 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Dustin Belton responded to a non-injury accident at 53rd North and Broadway.

June 6 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Dustin Belton assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with an arrest in the 1000 block of East Hopalong Cassidy Circle.

June 6 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Dustin Belton spoke at the station with a resident on the phone. The person said his wife wrongfully received a seatbelt ticket. They advised the calling party of the seatbelt law.

June 6 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Dustin Belton and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 400 block of East Rolling Acres Court to check for a person. The calling party said the babysitter was not home when she should be. They did not find anyone in the house.

June 6 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Dustin Belton and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to forgery in the 1600 block of East 61st North. A known person tried to cash a fraudulent check. Officers were unable to locate the suspect.

June 6 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 1000 block of East 61st North. The reporting party arrived to pick up his daughter for visitation but no one was there.

June 6 — Officer Levi Herring followed up on a case in the 400 block of East Rolling Acres Court.

June 6 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report of two motorcycles racing in the 7500 block of North Hydraulic. He checked the area but did not find them.

June 6 — Sgt. Keith Goodall found an open gate at a business in the 200 block of West 53rd North. He spoke with an employee and determined everything was OK.

June 6 — Officers Christopher Shields and Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to an assault in the 1900 block of East Cedar Tree Court. A woman reported getting into a verbal altercation with her husband that turned physical. Officers arrested the husband, Billy Ernst, on a charge of domestic battery.

June 6 — Officer Christopher Shields noticed a man and woman standing outside their vehicles talking in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. Officer advised the park was closed, and they agreed to leave.

June 6 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 900 block of East 53rd North where a vehicle had run out of gas. Help was on the way.

June 6 — Sgt. Trent Johnson reported the arrest of Dimitri Dixon by Wichita police for a Park City warrant.

June 6 — Officer Christopher Shields followed up on a case in the 1900 block of East Cedar Tree Court.

June 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with an alarm in the 7300 block of North Broadway. An employee said the alarm was set off accidentally. It was deemed false.

June 5 — Officers Blake Sanchez, Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to an alarm in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The business was checked, and the alarm deemed false.

June 5 — Officers Blake Sanchez and Dustin Belton stopped a vehicle in the 5400 block of North Seneca for an expired tag. They arrested Jordan Simpson on charges of driving with a revoked license and no proof of insurance, and on a Sedgwick County warrant.

June 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6100 block of North Judson Drive to check the welfare of several children left with their 94-year-old grandmother. Officers found the grandmother to be suffering from neglect and in need of medical attention. EMS transported the woman to a hospital. Officers reported the matter to Department for Children and Families.  

June 5 — Officers Levi Herring and Andrew Corlis responded to assist EMS in the 1500 block of East Frontenac.

June 5 — Officer Levi Herring found a wallet in the 6500 block of North Longmont that had been stolen.

June 5 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Levi Herring responded to the 900 block of East 53rd North to check for a reportedly drunken driver in the parking lot. They spoke with the suspect and determined he was not intoxicated.

June 5 — Officer Andrew Corlis checked a vehicle with its doors open in the 1000 block of East Hopalong Cassidy Drive. He was unable to contact the driver until later in the evening. Officer secured the car and advised the owner of the situation.

June 5 — Officers Levi Herring and Andrew Corlis responded to the 6800 block of North Hydraulic for an unsupervised juvenile. They later located and talked with the parent who was supposed to be watching the juvenile.

June 5 — Officer Andrew Corlis followed up on a case in the 6100 block of North Judson Drive.

June 5 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to an abandoned vehicle at 77th North and I-135. The owners eventually showed up, and the officer stood by while a tire was changed.

June 5 — Officer Levi Herring responded to a noise complaint in the 1100 block of East 61st North. He spoke with a resident playing loud music. The resident agreed to turn down the music for the night.

June 5 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a vehicle stop in the 4500 block of North I-135.  

June 5 — Officer Christopher Shields confirmed a warrant for Joshua Malpass, who was arrested by Clearwater police.

June 5 — Officer Brandon Green assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by looking near mile marker 22 on I-135 for an EMS vehicle dragging something behind it and throwing off sparks. He was unable to find the vehicle.

June 4 — Officers Edwyn Diaz, Dustin Belton and Chuck Trimmell responded to the 1500 block of East Ashford. A woman said her daughter and her daughter's boyfriend were asked to leave the calling party's house after a verbal argument. The daughter was back at the residence wanting to retrieve personal property. Officers spoke with the daughter, who agreed to leave after retrieving her stuff. They were transported to a truck stop to wait for a ride.

June 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell answered questions on the phone from a resident about garage sale permits.

June 4 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a non-injury, two-vehicle accident at Gary and Hydraulic.

June 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a business in the 200 block of West 61st North after seeing a side garage door open. He found employees inside working.

June 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell followed up on a vandalism case.

June 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to an alarm in the 5000 block of North Broadway. The building was secure, and the alarm deemed false.

June 4 — Officer Chuck Trimmell reported the arrest of Javin D. Foth on a Park City warrant by Harvey County sheriff.

June 4 — Officer Dustin Belton assisted Wichita police by contacting a person in the 900 block of East 53rd North for possible notification purposes. The person was already aware of the situation in Wichita.

June 4 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to the 2400 block of East Evanston. The reporting party said a vehicle he had a rolling disturbance with was parked in front of his house. Officer spoke with the driver of the parked vehicle, who wanted police to know that the reporting party had been driving recklessly.  

June 4 — Officer Levi Herring responded to check the welfare of a semi driver in the 5500 block of North Chuzy. He was unable to locate the vehicle.

June 4 — Officers Brandon Green and Andrew Corlis responded to the BMX track in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. The reporting party was having problems with a juvenile. The juvenile was not on the scene when officers arrived. The reporting party did sign a trespass notice.

June 4 — Officer Levi Herring responded to a report of a vicious dog in the 5800 block of North Kerman Court. Officer determined the dog just seemed protective. The reporting party was not on the scene and did not respond to the officer.

June 4 — Officers Levi Herring and Brandon Green responded to a disturbance in the 6500 block of North West Parkview. They did not find anyone in the area.

June 4 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to a non-injury, two-vehicle accident in the 1200 block of East Denver.

June 4 — Officer Levi Herring followed up on a case in the 5100 block of North Newton Circle.

June 4 — Officer Brandon Green responded to the 2500 block of East Elk Run Court. A man reported his former sister-in-law removing items from the home against a court order.

June 4 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green responded to an alarm in the 5900 block of North Judson Drive. They spoke with a resident, who was having problems with a new alarm code. The alarm was deemed false.

June 4 — Officers Brandon Green and Levi Herring responded to the 200 block of East 53rd North where the reporting party had been in a verbal argument with another person. No crime was committed. The other person left for the night.

June 4 — Officers Levi Herring and Andrew Corlis assisted Bel Aire police with a possible burglary in-progress in the 3800 block of Parkwood.

June 4 — Officer Duane Schrag took a report from the 200 block of East 53rd North of a known juvenile calling the reporting party and saying threatening things. She could not remember what the juvenile said.

June 4 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by responding to a noise complaint in the 1300 block of East Glocker Road. He found a group of people having a party. They agreed to turn down the music.

June 4 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 5500 block of North Chuzy Drive. The building and gates appeared secure. The alarm was deemed false.

June 3 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to the 1700 block of East Gary to check a vacant residence with an open front door. He checked the residence and thought someone may have been cleaning and forgot to lock the door, which he secured.

June 3 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Christopher Shields responded to the 900 block of East 53rd North to assist KHP. A woman with a disability was left alone in her vehicle when KHP arrested the only other occupant. Officers found a motel that donated a room for the woman for the day.

June 3 — Officer Chuck Trimmell spoke with a man at the station. The man was concerned someone would tell police he was trying to pass a counterfeit $20 bill at a garage sale. Officer had the bill checked by the city clerk who said it was legitimate. Officer contacted the citizen conducting the garage sale and advised the bill was legitimate.

June 3 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a two-vehicle accident at 61st North and Broadway. The reporting party, whose vehicle was rear-ended, said she had a minor injury.

June 3 — Officer Dustin Belton answered questions on the phone about a case.

June 3 — Officer Dustin Belton tried to follow up on a case in the 6200 block of North Jacksonville. He was unable to contact anyone at the residence.

June 3 — Officer Dustin Belton took a larceny report at the station. A man said a possibly known person took a check from his house while he was gone. The check was later signed and cashed by another person.

June 3 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to a burglary in the 1700 block of East Beaumont. The reporting party said someone took several items from the house at an unknown time.

June 3 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a private property accident in the 6000 block of North Prospect.

June 3 — Officer Brandon Green was dispatched to 61st North and Hillside to assist Kechi police with a pursuit into Park City. He was disregarded prior to becoming involved.

June 3 — Officers Brandon Green and Andrew Corlis responded to a larceny in the 200 block of East 53rd North. A woman said someone took jewelry from her room. There were no suspects.

June 3 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted Valley Center police with suspicious people around a car at 85th North and I-135.

June 3 — Officers Brandon Green and Andrew Corlis tried to assist Wichita police by locating a hot air balloon flying low in the 4800 block of North Alexander. They were unable to find the balloon.

June 3 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the 5400 block of North Broadway. They arrested Fernando Cerrera-Morales on a charge of DUI.

June 3 — Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted Valley Center police in checking a suspicious person at the Kwik Shop in the 100 block of East Fifth.

June 2 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to vandalism in the 2900 block of East Fairchild. A man saw a juvenile drive a truck through his field.

June 2 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked an abandoned vehicle in the 1500 block of East Cedar Tree. He contacted the owner, who said he would move the vehicle.

June 2 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a burglary in the 1400 block of East Ashford. The reporting party said someone entered an unlocked residence and removed several items.

June 2 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to a non-injury, two-vehicle accident at 501 E. 63rd North.

June 2 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to check the welfare of a driver reportedly leaning forward, head down and swerving near mile marker 13 on I-135. He was unable to locate the vehicle.

June 2 — Officer Brandon Green stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 6200 block of North Broadway. He arrested Courtney Corchado on a Sedgwick County warrant.

June 2 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green were flagged down and told of a possible disturbance. They followed the person to the 6300 block of North Ulysses and spoke with two other individuals. After being on the scene for a while, one of the new individuals asked officers to leave because no crime had been committed and he was done talking.

June 2 — Officer Brandon Green took a report of a probation violation by a person on probation in Park City.

June 2 — Officer Randy Browning arrested Jamie Ponce at Municipal Court on a court commit.

June 2 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green responded to the 6200 block of North Jacksonville for a report of a small child walking around a business alone. The reporting party located the child's mother but wanted officers to check the child's welfare since the mother did not seem concerned about her child being out alone. Officers did not contact anyone at the residence and planned to follow up later.

June 2 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted EMS in the 200 block of East 53rd North.

June 1 — Officer Chuck Trimmell served a subpoena in the 1200 block of East Arlington.

June 1 — Officer Chuck Trimmell tried to serve a subpoena in the 1200 block of East Charleston. He also addressed a parking violation.

June 1 — Officer Chuck Trimmell served subpoenas in the 6300 block of North East Parkview, the 2600 block of East Fairchild and the 1000 block of East Hopalong Cassidy Circle.

June 1 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to check the welfare of a 7-month-old in the 6700 block of North Grove. The calling party said the child was underweight for his age. EMS was on the scene when officers arrived and said the child was OK and in no immediate danger. Wolff escorted the child's and his mother to the hospital for evaluation.

June 1 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was stopped by an employee of a business regarding a suspicious vehicle in its parking lot in the 900 block of East 61st North. Officer contacted the owner who said it was a dealer's vehicle. The owner offered to call the dealer and get it resolved.

June 1 — Officer Edwyn Diaz reported that an unknown resident came into the station to file a report but left prior to the officer's arrival.

June 1 — Officers Brandon Green and Andrew Corlis responded to the 5300 block of North Hydraulic to check on a man. They gave the man a ride to Comcare at the request of the calling party, who is the person's handler at a group home in Wichita.

June 1 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted Department for Children and Families by trying to check the welfare of a child in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. He was not able to contact anyone at the residence.

June 1 — Officer Andrew Corlis took a report at the station of a person receiving threatening Facebook messages from a known person. Officer determined that any criminal case would have to be filed with the Kechi Police Department.

June 1 — Officer Brandon Green assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in the 6500 block of North Hillside by checking for a suspicious vehicle leaving Kechi Cemetery. The suspect vehicle was not found.

June 1 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a non-injury, two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident in the 1500 block of East 61st North. The suspect vehicle was not located.

June 1 — Officer Andrew Corlis followed up on a case at the station.

June 1 — Officer Levi Herring followed up on a case at the Sedgwick County jail.

June 1 — Officer Levi Herring responded to the 1200 block of East Arlington to assist fire and EMS. He was disregarded upon arrival.

June 1 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted Valley Center police in the 7700 block of Hays Drive with finding a vehicle involved in an armed robbery.
