Dec. 6 — Officer Duane Schrag responded a fifth time to an alarm in the 900 block of East Connolly Court after at least two neighbors reported the alarm going off. The officer contacted a key holder, and the alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 6 — Officers Duane Schrag and Christopher Shields responded to a business in the 900 block of East Connolly Court after the store manager requested officers check the building with him. The building was secure.

Dec. 5 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to an alarm in the 300 block of East 49th North. The business appeared secure, and no key holder responded. The alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 5 —  Officer Edwyn Diaz was asked to call a citizen for an unknown reason. No one answered when he called.

Dec. 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz received additional information from the reporting party in the 1500 block of East 69th North about a case.

Dec. 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz followed-up on a case in the 1500 block of East Fallbrook.

Dec. 5 — Officer Brandon Green reported the arrest of Christopher Torrente on a charge of domestic violence battery by another law enforcement agency.

Dec. 5 — Officers Brandon Green and Levi Herring arrested Jessica Medlam in the 1700 block of East Broadbeck on a charge of violating a no-contact order.

Dec. 5 — Officer Levi Herring assisted Newton police with a traffic stop in the 3700 block of North I-135. Newton police arrested three suspects for felony theft.

Dec. 5 — Officers Levi Herring and Brandon Green, along with Valley Center officers and a Sedgwick County deputy, responded to a disturbance between two individuals in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. They arrested Filipe Howell on a charge of disorderly conduct after trying to start a fight with his roommate.

Dec. 5 — Officer Brandon Green responded to an assault in the 1700 block of East Broadbeck. He arrested Kyle Fields on a charge of interfering with a law enforcement officer.

Dec. 5 — Officer Brandon Green checked the welfare of a man reported as possibly drunk at 53rd North and Hydraulic. Officer gave him a ride to Newton.

Dec. 5 — Officers Duane Schrag and Christopher Shields assisted Kechi police in the 400 block of North Oliver by searching for a prisoner who had escaped custody.

Dec. 5 — Officers Duane Schrag and Christopher Shields responded to the 900 block of East 61st North to assist a citizen who was given a ride to Park City by Newton police. A Park City officer gave the person a ride to a homeless shelter in Wichita.

Dec. 4 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the school zone in the 1100 block of East 61st North.

Dec. 4 — Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted with traffic control at Chisholm Trail Elementary School in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Dec. 4 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report from a woman about an incident that began at a business in the 900 block of East 61st North. The woman reported an unknown man approached her and insisted on talking with her. The man followed the woman until she pulled into the City Hall parking lot.

Dec. 4 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report of the theft of a tractor and front-end loader from the 1500 block of East 69th North.

Dec. 4 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Officer Edwyn Diaz served a protection-from-abuse order in the 1300 block of East Beaumont.

Dec. 4 — Officer Brandon Green took a supplemental report from the 1300 block of East Beaumont. A juvenile was with her mother the entire time she was unaccounted for. The case was cleared through NCIC.

Dec. 4 — Officer Brandon Green spoke on the phone with a citizen who had questions regarding property for a person.

Dec. 4 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to an alarm in the 4800 block of North Broadway. They spoke with a cleaning crew, who said everything was OK. The alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 4 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Andrew Corlis responded to the 1500 block of East Fallbrook where a woman reported seeing an individual standing on the rear deck looking into her house.

Dec. 4 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to an alarm in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. The building was secure, and the alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 4 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted Wichita police by informing a person in the 6300 block of North Mobile Drive of a death in the family.

Dec. 4 — Officer Andrew Corlis stopped in the 6000 block of North I-135 to assist a motorist with a flat tire on a trailer. The motorist said he was OK and would return with a new tire for the trailer.

Dec. 4 — Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted Valley Center police with an audible alarm in the 300 block of East Seventh. All buildings were secure.

Dec. 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the school zone in the 1100 block of East 61at North.

Dec. 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Dec. 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report from the 4800 block of North Broadway. The reporting party said his roommate called his employer and made false accusations about him.

Dec. 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff checked a stranded motorist in the 9200 block of North I-135. Upon arrival, roadside assistance was on the scene.

Dec. 3 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke on the phone with a business that had an employee threaten to quit. The business was concerned the employee might do something to the company's truck.

Dec. 3 — Officers Levi Herring and Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 1000 block of East Hopalong Cassidy Circle. They arrested Nikko Quiroz and Sharla Miller on charges of possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of prescriptions medication. Quiroz was also arrested on three Sedgwick County warrants.

Dec. 3 — Officer Randy Browning arrested Nicholas Murphy on a court commit while at municipal court.

Dec. 3 — Officer Brandon Green took a report from the 4500 block of North Broadview Circle. The reporting party said his daughter had not come home from school.

Dec. 3 — Sgt. Keith Goodall reported that Wichita police arrested Ian H. Jones on a Park City bench warrant.

Dec. 3 — Officer Brandon Green reported that a local law enforcement agency arrested Jerry McCurdy on a Park City warrant.

Dec. 3 — Officer Levi Herring responded to an alarm in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. The building was secure, and the alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 3 — Officer Andrew Corlis took a report of a non-injury accident in which a southbound vehicle hit a deer in the 5500 block of North I-135.

Dec. 3 — Sgt. Trent Johnson reported the arrest of Jeffery Walcher by Wichita police on a Park City bench warrant.

Dec. 3 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1200 block of East 53rd North. They arrested Robert Velazquez on a Wichita warrant.

Dec. 2 — Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted EMS in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck.

Dec. 2 — Officer Andrew Corlis and off-duty Det. Dwight Wilkes saw two known people with an active protection-from-abuse order working out together in the 1500 block of East 61st North.

Dec. 2 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps assisted Goddard police by checking for a known suspect at a business in the 6000 block of North Broadway. They located and transported the suspect to the Sedgwick County jail for pick-up by Goddard police.

Dec. 2 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Richard Wolff checked for a wanted person in the 2600 block of East Burlington. The suspect was not found.

Dec. 2 — Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6600 block of North Hydraulic where the reporting party found a slim Jim automobile door unlocking tool in the road.

Dec. 2 — Officer Brandon Green was dispatched to an accident in the 1000 block of East 61st North. En route, he learned it had occurred in Valley Center.

Dec. 2 — Sgt. Keith Goodall, Det. Dwight Wilkes and Officer Brandon Green followed-up in the 2600 block of East Burlington. They arrested Ryan Carver on a violation of a protection-from-abuse order.

Dec. 2 — Sgt. Keith Goodall was dispatched to the 5500 block of North Sheridan for a report of a robbery thought to have occurred in Park City. After determining the robbery occurred near 48th North and Arkansas, Wichita police was notified.

Dec. 2 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Brandon Green responded to a disturbance in the 2100 block of East 61st North. They arrested Anthony Jergens and John Jergens each on a charge of domestic violence battery.

Dec. 2 — Officer Brandon Green took a report form the 5800 block of North Park Place. The reporting party said her daughter was with her biological father in Salina.

Dec. 2 — Sgt. Keith Goodall reported that Sedgwick County Sheriff's Office arrested Jordan K. Simpson on a Park City bench warrant.

Dec. 2 — Officer Brandon Green responded to the 1000 block of East Hopalong Cassidy Drive. Two men reportedly obtained rooms by deception.

Dec. 2 — Officer Brandon Green responded to the 1500 block of East Evanston. The reporting party said a known person came to the home and said his people were coming.

Dec. 2 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a non-injury accident in the 6100 block of North I-135. They arrested John Casper on a charge of DUI.

Dec. 2 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to an audible alarm in the 4900 block of North Broadway. The alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 2 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to an audible alarm in the 900 block of East 45th North. Employees were on the scene, and the alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 1 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted school zone duties in the 1100 block of East 61st North and in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Dec. 1 — Officer Dustin Belton responded for a Kansas driver's license found at a business in the 6200 block of North Broadway. Officer collected and submitted the license as found property.

Dec. 1 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall stood in the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Dec. 1 — Officer Brandon Green answered questions on the phone about a DUI arrest the previous night.

Dec. 1 — Officer Brandon Green reported that a local law enforcement agency arrested Brian Keller on a Park City warrant.

Dec. 1 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to an audible alarm in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. The alarm had been set off by a delivery driver.

Dec. 1 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 5000 block of North I-135. They arrested Ronald Hunter Jr. on a charge of driving with a suspended license and on a Sedgwick County warrant.

Nov. 30 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Officer Dustin Belton responded to an injury accident in the 1000 block of East 53rd North. The reporting party turned left in front of another vehicle, causing the accident. EMS transported the second driver to St. Francis. Officers requested a blood draw from this driver. The first driver was transported by personal vehicle to the Wesley ER.

Nov. 30 — Officer Dustin Belton followed-up on a case at the station.

Nov. 30 — Officer Dustin Belton spoke with a citizen at the station who wanted police to know that no one should be at the residence except for him or his family. The citizen also requested extra patrol.

Nov. 30 — Officer Levi Herring responded to a larceny in the 5900 block of North Prospect Road. A local business reported losing a tag off a truck.

Nov. 30 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report from the 1700 block of East 61st North. A known person came into the business and demanded to use the phone.

Nov. 30 — Officer Levi Herring was dispatched to the station where he arrested David Cook on a Park City warrant.

Nov. 30 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a larceny in the 1500 block of East Evanston. The reporting party said she believes a known person took money from her wallet while he was at her house.

Nov. 30 — Officers Duane Schrag and Christopher Shields stopped a vehicle in the 8000 block of North I-135 for a traffic violation. They arrested Justin M. Webb on a charge of DUI.

Nov. 30 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted KHP with an injury accident at K-254 and Hillside.

Nov. 30 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted a motorist with an inoperable vehicle at K-254 and Hillside.

Nov. 30 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a non-injury accident at K-254 and Oliver.

Nov. 29 — Officer Dustin Belton checked a business in the 200 block of West 61st North after finding an open gate. An employee said everything was OK.

Nov. 29 — Officer Dustin Belton removed several large tree branches from the road in the 5800 block of North Broadway.

Nov. 29 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to a forgery in the 6200 block of North Broadway. An employee reported that an unknown man cashed a check that did not belong to him. Evidence was collected and submitted.

Nov. 29 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Levi Herring and Lt. Hobert Capps assisted KHP with an accident that turned into a disturbance in the 6700 block of North I-135. KHP arrested both drivers.

Nov. 29 — Officers Duane Schrag and Christopher Shields responded to a report of a vehicle traveling east in the westbound lanes of K-96, then I-235 and then K-254. They located and stopped the vehicle in the 3000 block of K-254, holding it until a Sedgwick County sheriff's deputy arrived to take over the investigation.

Nov. 28 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton were dispatched to an alarm in the 1900 block of East Ravena. The alarm company disregarded them prior to arrival.

Nov. 28 — Officer Dustin Belton assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a rollover accident in the 1600 block of East 125th North.

Nov. 28 — Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a parking complaint in the 1300 block of East Charleston. A neighbor complained about a vehicle parked in front of a house for a couple of weeks with its windows down. Officer located the vehicle, which appeared to be inoperable. He placed a 48-hour tow sticker on the vehicle.

Nov. 28 — Officers Brandon Green, Levi Herring and Andrew Corlis responded to a disturbance at 501 E. 63rd North. They did not find a disturbance.

Nov. 28 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Brandon Green and Levi Herring responded to the 6200 block of North Longmont where a neighbor reported the garage door was open and the residents were out of town. Officers found the unlocked door but no signs of forced entry. They cleared and secured the house.

Nov. 28 — Officers Duane Schrag and Christopher Shields responded to a non-injury accident in the 6100 block of North I-135.

Nov. 28 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Sedgwick County fire in locating a power line sparking in the trees behind the calling party's house in the 1300 block of East Evanston. The fire department contacted Westar about the line.

Nov. 27 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 800 block of East 61st North.

Nov. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz returned a call to a resident, but there was no answer. He left a message on voice mail.

Nov. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. The building was secured by a key holder, and the alarm was deemed false.

Nov. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report of a window broken out by a truck putting sand on the streets.

Nov. 27 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to a burglary and fire alarm in the 1700 block of East Ventnor. Upon arrival, the homeowner said everything was OK. Sedgwick County fire was on the scene and verified it was a faulty alarm.

Nov. 27 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Levi Herring and Brandon Green responded to a disturbance in the 1400 block of East Frontenac. The reporting party had gotten into a verbal argument with his girlfriend because he wanted to go and see his family but she wanted him to stay home. The argument was verbal only with no physical contact.

Nov. 27 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Levi Herring and Brandon Green responded to the 1400 block of East Evanston where a woman reported her boyfriend had stolen her vehicle.

Nov. 27 — Officer Christopher Shields worked a non-injury accident in the 8100 block of North Hartman Arena Drive. While trying to make a turn from northbound Hartman Arena Drive onto westbound Briar Rose Lane, Sgt. Trent Johnson slid his police vehicle into the curb. The vehicle was inoperable.

Nov. 27 — Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted a motorist who slid off the highway in the 10100 block of North I-135.

Nov. 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff checked the welfare of a transient in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The subject was later transported to Newton.

Nov. 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz served a uniform criminal complaint for domestic violence battery on an inmate at the Sedgwick County jail.

Nov. 26 — Officer Brandon Green took a report of a non-injury, two-vehicle accident in the 5900 block of North Air Cap Drive. The reporting party said her vehicle was struck Nov. 25 in the parking lot by another vehicle, which left the scene.  

Nov. 26 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall provided traffic control at 61st North and Grove while a tow truck pulled a vehicle from the ditch.

Nov. 26 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 1500 block of East 61st North. They searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary. The building was secured, and the alarm was deemed false.

Nov. 26 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a disturbance at 501 E. 63rd North. The reporting party had gotten into a verbal argument with her mother about leaving at midnight and driving in bad weather. There was no physical contact. Both parties agreed to respect each other.

Nov. 26 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to an audible alarm in the 5700 block of North Broadway. The alarm was false.

Nov. 25 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report from the 200 block of East 53rd North. The reporting party said his ex-wife violated a court order by not returning their kids by 8 a.m. today after her visitation.

Nov. 25 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive. The reporting party said an unknown man used counterfeit money to pay for gas.

Nov. 25 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored a streetlight hanging from the pole on the northeast side of the intersection of 77th North and Hydraulic. Westar finally arrived on the scene.

Nov. 25 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green stopped a vehicle in the 5700 block of North Park Place that had a license plate reported as stolen. After confirming the tag was stolen from Kansas City, Kan., officers seized the tag and released the driver.

Nov. 25 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to simple assault in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. A woman reported that her grandson was struck by his father sometime over the weekend and left a mark. Officers notified the Exploited and Missing Child Unit.

Nov. 25 — Officer Brandon Green reported the arrest of Aaron Lupo by Valley Center police on a Park City bench warrant.

Nov. 25 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by checking a motorist in the 10200 block of North Broadway.

Nov. 25 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Harvey County sheriff by checking for a possible drunk driver. He and a Valley Center officer stopped the vehicle in the 10100 block of North I-135 and determined the driver was not intoxicated.

Nov. 25 — Officer Christopher Shields was flagged down by a man in the 1500 block of East 61st North. The man said a vehicle was following him and then pulled up next to him. Officer located the vehicle and found the driver was lost. The officer provided directions.

Nov. 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell ran radar in the school zone in the 1100 block of East 61st North.

Nov. 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell monitored traffic in the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Nov. 24 — Sgt. Richard Wolff provided traffic control in front of Chisholm Trail Elementary in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Nov. 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and a Sedgwick County deputy checked a restaurant for a domestic violence subject in the 3300 block of North Broadway. Employees told them the subject called this morning, said he was in trouble and quit his job.
