Manager of golf course and youth sports facilities maintenance: The Valley Center Recreation Commission is seeking an applicant for the position of Manager of golf course and youth sports facilities maintenance. Applicants must have advanced knowledge of agronomy and environmental turfgrass practices including pest/disease/weed management. Extensive experience in the area of sport turf and irrigation systems is a plus. Applicants must be willing to perform regular / routine turf maintenance as well as direct subordinate staff in these areas. This position reports to the Director of Recreation and is a non-exempt position under FLSA. Salary Range: Negotiable dependent upon experience and qualifications.
