Aug. 29 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz checked a closed business with a car parked oddly in front of it in the 5300 block of North Broadway. The business was secure.

Aug. 29 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to the 6000 block of North Independence Drive. Several juveniles were reportedly on the roof of the school. They located the juveniles and turned them over to a guardian. A board of education representative was on the scene and gave a verbal no trespass warning.

Aug. 29 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields and Lt. Hobert Capps assisted Kechi police with a burglary in-progress in the 3400 block of East 61st North.

Aug. 29 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields responded to check the welfare of a male pacing back and forth on the 101st North overpass at I-135. They did not locate anyone in the area.

Aug. 29 — Officer Andrew Corlis stopped a motorist in the 5900 block of North Broadway. The vehicle had an expired tag and the motorist was driving while suspended and in possession of the wrong registration sticker for the vehicle. Officer took custody of the sticker and submitted it to property and evidence. The driver was cited and released.

Aug. 29 — Officers Brandon Green, Christopher Shields and Andrew Corlis assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a suspicious person in the 1500 block of East 93rd North. A vehicle had been stopped and was found to be transporting an open container and the driver was DUI. Sheriff's office handled the violations.

Aug. 29 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields responded to vandalism in the 6000 block of North Hydraulic. The reporting party said someone damaged his mailbox.

Aug. 29 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to larceny in the 7700 block of North Broadway. The reporting party said someone stole her license plate.

Aug. 29 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a non-injury accident in the 6000 block of North Air Cap Drive.

Aug. 29 — Officer Duane Schrag was flagged down in the 9000 block of East 61st North by a female with car problems resulting from domestic violence that occurred in Andover. Andover police was contacted, and the woman agreed to return to Andover to complete a report.

Aug. 29 — Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring assisted Sedgwick County sheriff near 61st North and Oliver with a vehicle pursuit that ended in a crash at 101st North and Oliver.

Aug. 29 — Officer Levi Herring conducted a vehicle stop that resulted in a car search in the 4500 block of North Broadway. Both occupants were released.

Aug. 28 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a non-injury accident in the 900 block of East 53rd North.

Aug. 28 — Officer Chuck Trimmell ran radar in the school zone in the 1100 block of East 61st North. No citations were issued.

Aug. 28 — Officer Chuck Trimmell observed traffic in the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence. No issues were observed.

Aug. 28 — Officer Chuck Trimmell stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 900 block of East 53rd North. They arrested Sofia M. Bernal-Saldivar on warrants from Park City, Sedgwick County and Augusta.

Aug. 28 — Officers Christopher Shields and Andrew Corlis responded to a residential alarm in the 2300 block of East Highbridge Court. They contacted the homeowner who said he was having problems with the pass code. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 28 — Officers Christopher Shields and Andrew Corlis responded again to a residential alarm in the 2300 block of East Highbridge Court. They again contacted the homeowner who said he got the alarm figured out. The alarm was again deemed false.

Aug. 28 — Officers Christopher Shields and Andrew Corlis responded to a business alarm in the 4800 block of North Broadway. They contacted employees and deemed the alarm to be false.

Aug. 28 — Officers Levi Herring, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields checked on a person trying to hurt himself at 501 E. 63rd North. The patient was transported to a hospital.

Aug. 28 — Sgt. Trent Johnson reported the arrest of Richard Manion in Hutchinson on a Park City warrant.

Aug. 28 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle in the 9300 block of North Broadway. The driver was issued a Uniform Criminal Complaint for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and released.

Aug. 28 — Officer Levi Herring assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by contacting two people in the 6200 block of North Broadway.

Aug. 27 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to vandalism in the 2600 block of East Burlington. A woman reported her vehicle was damaged overnight by a known person.

Aug. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence. No violations were observed.

Aug. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz confirmed a Park City bench warrant for a person being held by Ford County.

Aug. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz reported the arrest of Christopher R. Moore on a Park City warrant by Sedgwick County warrant officers.

Aug. 27 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to the 6200 block of North Longmont to assist Harvey County in checking for a wanted person. The officer arrested Dusty Borntrager at that location on a Harvey County warrant and transported him to the county line where a Harvey County deputy took custody of him.

Aug. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted EMS at the squad room. EMS transported the patient.

Aug. 27 — Officer Andrew Corlis spoke with a citizen at the station and answered questions about the information on a Protection From Abuse order.

Aug. 27 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Brandon Green responded to the 1200 block of East Broadbeck while a pit bull was reportedly chasing people in the neighborhood. Officers were unable to locate either the dog or its owner.

Aug. 27 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to fraud in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The reporting party said a person cashed a counterfeit check at the business.

Aug. 27 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 1600 block of East Village Estates. The reporting party found what he believed to be drug paraphernalia. Officer collected the items to be destroyed.

Aug. 27 — Sgt. Trent Johnson reported the arrest of Ryan M. Klawitter by Wichita police on a Park City warrant.

Aug. 26 — Sgt. Richard Wolff, Lt. Hobert Capps and Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to an accident in the 7700 block of North Hydraulic. Minor injuries were reported.

Aug. 26 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Lt. Henry Spurlock assisted Sedgwick County fire with an electrical line down across the street in the 6000 block of North Hartford. Westar Energy responded and removed the line.

Aug. 26 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Keith Goodall monitored school zone traffic in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Aug. 26 — Sgts. Keith Goodall and Richard Wolff, Det. Dwight Wilkes and Officers Brandon Green and Andrew Corlis contacted a person in the 900 block of East 53rd North suspected of passing a fake bill. They arrested James Scaia on a Wichita warrant.

Aug. 26 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Duane Schrag responded to a burglary in-progress in the 6100 block of North Judson. The calling party said a male on her porch was going through her items and taking things. No report was wanted.

Aug. 26 — Sgt. Trent Johnson took a report that Raelynn Hawkins was arrested by Wichita police on a Park City warrant.

Aug. 26 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Duane Schrag responded to larceny in the 6100 block of North Judson. The calling party said an unknown person came onto her porch and took items.

Aug. 25 — Sgt. Richard Wolff provided traffic control and monitored school zone traffic in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Aug. 25 — Sgt. Richard Wolff recovered a found bicycle in the 6200 block of North Longmont. It was submitted to property and evidence for storage.

Aug. 25 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was flagged down in the 2000 block of East 53rd North by a citizen who reported people messing around in the area of 53rd North and Lakewood Hills Drive. Officer checked the area and found people landscaping.  

Aug. 25 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a non-injury accident in the 300 block of West 61st North.

Aug. 25 — Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted Det. Dwight Wilkes at the station with a domestic violence report that occurred over the weekend.

Aug. 25 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to Harford and Ashford for a suspicious vehicle. He found a company working on a residence in the area.

Aug. 25 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 1900 block of Cedar Tree for a report of kids throwing things at construction machinery. They were unable to find any kids or any damage.

Aug. 25 — Officer Duane Schrag and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a burglary in the 300 block of East 53rd North. The reporting party for a business said someone tried to break into an office building.

Aug. 25 — Officer Duane Schrag and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive for an intoxicated person leaving a store. They located the suspect vehicle at the business but it was empty.

Aug. 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a hold-up alarm in the 1500 block of East Prairie Hill. He contacted the homeowner and deemed the alarm false.

Aug. 24 — Officer Dustin Belton and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a business hold-up alarm in the 5400 block of North Chuzy Drive. They spoke with employees and deemed the alarm false.

Aug. 24 — Officer Dustin Belton and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6100 block of North Judson Drive to check the welfare of several children. They checked the children and then contacted the state Division of Children and Family.

Aug. 24 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 3000 block of North Fairchild for a report of a truck driving through a field. Officer checked the area and was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

Aug. 24 — Officer Christopher Shields monitored traffic in and around the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Aug. 24 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 6000 block of North Independence where a woman had accidentally locked her vehicle with her keys and children in side. Sedgwick County fire responded and unlocked the vehicle.

Aug. 24 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to an injury accident at 53rd North and I-135.

Aug. 24 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to assault at 501 East 63rd North. A woman reported that her 14-year-old daughter was causing a disturbance. Officers arrested the daughter on a charge of battery.

Aug. 24 — Officer Christopher Shields followed-up on a case by contacting a witness on the telephone in the 2500 block of East Fairchild.

Aug. 24 — Officers Duane Schrag, Levi Herring and Christopher Shields responded to 501 E. 63rd North. The reporting party said her ex-husband took the children when he wasn't supposed to and yelled at her when he returned them.

Aug. 24 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Duane Schrag responded to assault in the 2600 block of East Fairchild. A woman reported being assaulted by her husband earlier in the week and being threatened by him. The husband had left prior to the officers' arrival.

Aug. 24 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Duane Schrag and Levi Herring responded to a burglary in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. A woman reported Taylor Wylie had entered her apartment and took her belongings. Officers located Wylie and arrested him on a charge of burglary.

Aug. 23 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to the 4600 block of North Steeds Crossing. A woman reported her ex-husband was in violation of a court order by not allowing her to have her kids for the weekend.

Aug. 23 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a business alarm in the 6300 block of North Broadway. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 23 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz responded to Fairchild and Hillside for a report of an unknown person driving in the fields. They were unable t locate the person.

Aug. 23 — Officer Dustin Belton and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a loud noise complaint at 501 E. 63rd North. They spoke with a resident about the music. The resident agreed to turn down the music.

Aug. 23 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to check the welfare of a child left in a vehicle in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The vehicle left prior to the officer's arrival.

Aug. 23 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a business alarm in the 5700 block of North Broadway. The business appeared to be secure, and the alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to suspicious person at 501 E 63rd North. A citizen reported a male walking in the drainage ditch near her house pacing back and forth. Officers checked the area but did not locate anyone.

Aug. 23 — Officer Christopher Shields took a report at 901 E. 61st North of a wallet found in Wichita.

Aug. 23 — Officer Christopher Shields confirmed a warrant for Caleb Stewart to Wichita police.

Aug. 23 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a burglary in the 1400 block of East Beaumont. The reporting party said someone entered his house.

Aug. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 6700 block of North Kerman to check the welfare. Andrew Rush decided to fight with Sgt. Goodall and use his dog as a weapon. Officers took Rush into custody and transported him to a hospital. Rush was booked on a hold for state warrant.

Aug. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to vandalism in the 2700 block of East Fairchild. The reporting party said a person drove a truck through the grass and created ruts.

Aug. 23 — Officers Levi Herring and Duane Schrag stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 7700 block of North I-13. They arrested Milford Marzett and Nicholas McMillon on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Aug. 22 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to a residential alarm in the 1700 block of East Ventnor. He contacted the homeowners and determined the alarm was false.

Aug. 22 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz responded to an assault in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. The reporting party said a known person hit him.

Aug. 22 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields checked the 6400 block of North West Parkview for shots fired. They were unable to locate the source of the sound.
