Aug. 22 — Officer Brandon Green found two males fishing on private property in the 7300 block of North Wild West Drive. They were advised they were on private property.

Aug. 22 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields checked for wanted person in the 1400 block of East Evanston. They were unable to locate the person.

Aug. 22 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to vandalism in the 1500 block of East Ashford. The reporting party said his grandson was out of control and hit his car and house window with a broom handle. Officer arrested the grandson on a charge of criminal damage to property.

Aug. 22 — Officer Duane Schrag checked the park in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic and closed the floodgates due to high water.

Aug. 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell ran radar in the school zone in the 1100 block of East 61st North. No violations were observed.

Aug. 21 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored traffic in the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence Drive. No violations were observed.

Aug. 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell followed-up on a case in the 900 block of East 61st North.

Aug. 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to vandalism in the 300 block of West 53rd North. The reporting party said a tree limb from vehicle with a trailer full of tree limbs hit his vehicle. There was no damage.

Aug. 21 — Officer Chuck Trimmell received a set of found keys in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic

Aug. 21 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to forgery in the 6100 block of North Broadway. A business had received numerous fictitious checks.

Aug. 21 — Officer Brandon Green took a report from the 6200 block of North Broadway of a citizen losing some personal property.

Aug. 21 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to aggravated assault in the 1300 block of East Beaumont. The reporting party said a known person tried to hit her with a vehicle.

Aug. 21 — Officer Christopher Shields conducted follow up on a case in the 6500 block of North Hydraulic.

Aug. 21 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to an alarm in the 5900 block of North Prospect. They searched the building and deemed the alarm false.

Aug. 21 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green found a disturbance in the 6200 block of North West Parkview where the reporting party said another person hit her.

Aug. 21 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to the 1500 block of East Evanston. The reporting party said a known person in an intoxicated state arrived on the property and said she was there to get her children. Officers were unable to contact the intoxicated person. The children were OK.

Aug. 21 — Officer Levi Herring stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 4500 block of North I-135. He arrested Clifton W. Park on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

Aug. 21 — Officer Levi Herring was dispatched to remove a deer from the road at 101st North and I-135.

Aug. 20 — Officer Chuck Trimmell ran radar in the school zone of the 1100 block of East 61st North. No violations observed.

Aug. 20 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the school zone at 6015 N. Independence Drive. No violations observed.

Aug. 20 — Officer Edwyn Diaz attempted to serve court papers in the 8300 block of North Broadway. No contact was made.

Aug. 20 — Officer Chuck Trimmell left two Park City Municipal Court subpoenas for a witness in the front door of a residence in the 1300 block of East Frontenac.

Aug. 20 — Officer Chuck Trimmell served two Park City Municipal Court subpoenas in the 1300 block of East Frontenac. He also gave a witness two more subpoenas to give to his mother inside the residence.

Aug. 20 — Officer Chuck Trimmell personally served a witness with two Park City Municipal Court subpoenas in the 6100 block of North Broadway.

Aug. 20 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to larceny in the 300 block of West 53rd North. Two unknown men in a pickup truck left the business without paying for two yards of mulch valued at $96.75.

Aug. 20 — Officer Christopher Shields monitored traffic in and around the school zone at 6015 N. Independence. There were no issues.

Aug. 20 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to burglary in the 6500 block of North Hydraulic. Someone forced their way into the residence through a back basement window and took several tools. Someone also pried open the front door but not sure if anyone got inside the residence. Officers searched the home and didn't see anything that looked like anyone had been in the house. Events occurred sometime between Aug. 17 and the time of the call. Total loss so far was $457.

Aug. 20 — Officer Brandon Green stood by at a child exchange in the 1300 block of East Frontenac.

Aug. 20 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a residential hold-up alarm in the 4800 block of North Steeds Crossing. He spoke with the resident and determined the alarm was false.

Aug. 20 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 6400 block of North West Parkview. The victim reported a known person went into the house, took a Kansas car title and keys to a vehicle. The victim said the person was supposed to give him the car for money owed.

Aug. 20 — Sgt. Keith Goodall checked the welfare of male juveniles trying to cross I-135 toward the park in the 6300 block of North I-135. He was unable to locate the juveniles.

Aug. 20 — Sgt. Keith Goodall served a suspect at the station with a Uniform Criminal Complaint for violation of a no-contact order that occurred Aug. 3. The suspect was arraigned by Judge Keith and released.

Aug. 20 — Officer Christopher Shields spoke with a female on the phone who was having problems with neighborhood kids. She wanted to know what could be done to keep them off her property. She refused to make a report.

Aug. 20 — Officer Brandon Green responded to 501 E. 63rd North for a report of a man yelling. He spoke with the man and told him to not yell.

Aug. 20 — Officer Levi Herring confirmed a warrant on Matthew L. Hubbard to the Sedgwick County jail.

Aug. 20 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Levi Herring checked for a suspicious vehicle in the 6200 block of North Broadway. A witness said the vehicle had been hanging around in the area for about an hour, going back and forth from his lot to the Snacks lot. Officers checked the area and did not locate the vehicle.

Aug. 20 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Levi Herring responded to 501 E. 63rd North where a resident found a suspect knocking on his back window and looking into the home. The suspect, who was intoxicated, said he had fallen asleep in a nearby vehicle. When he awoke, he thought he was at his mother's house on Mohawk. Officers took the suspect home.

Aug. 19 — Officer Chuck Trimmell ran radar in the school zone of the 1100 block of East 61st North. No citations were issued.

Aug. 19 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a suspicious person reportedly pacing up and down the street in the 6300 block of Chisholm Pointe. They checked the area but did not locate the suspect.

Aug. 19 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a motor vehicle versus pedestrian accident in the parking lot in the 900 block of East 61st North. Minor injuries were reported, and a person was transported to a hospital.

Aug. 19 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report of an unknown person using the victim's credit card at Towne East Mall a week ago. Officer referred her to Wichita police to file a report.

Aug. 19 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz checked for a wanted person in the 1300 block of East Beaumont but did not locate him.

Aug. 19 — Officer Edwyn Diaz checked for suspicious persons in the 5000 block of North Primrose. A resident reported juveniles in the park after hours, possibly using drugs, and walking through her property leaving trash. She requested extra patrol.

Aug. 19 — Officer Brandon Green took a report of an auto theft in the 7700 block of North I-135. The victim reported someone moved her vehicle from the interstate to the stop sign on the off-ramp at 77th North. The driver reported the loss of a cellphone, a quik-e-saw and his driver's license. No suspects at this time.

Aug. 19 — Officer Andrew Corlis had a victim fill out a witness statement for a case.

Aug. 19 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted a motorist with a car that would not start in the 6000 block of North Broadway. The vehicle was moved off the road.

Aug. 19 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green monitored school zone traffic at 6015 N. Independence.

Aug. 19 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to 501 E. 63rd North and spoke with a resident who had been chased by a dog. Officer contacted the dog's owner, who had the dog back on the leash. He told the owner to make sure the dog stayed on the leash if it was outside.

Aug. 19 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall found two people trespassing on private property at Wild West World in the 7400 block of North Hydraulic. Both were informed it was private property, given a warning and asked to leave.

Aug. 19 — Officer Brandon Green found a construction helmet in the road in the 200 block of East 53rd North. He turned it in to property and evidence.

Aug. 19 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Keith Goodall checked for a known person in the 1300 block of East Beaumont. The person was not at home.

Aug. 19 — Sgt. Trent Johnson found an open car door and contacted the owner in the 6300 block of North West Parkview. The owner said she accidentally left the door open, and everything was OK.

Aug. 19 — Sgt. Trent Johnson found a dead duck in the road in the 1500 block of East Bearhill Road. He collected the duck and turned it over to code enforcement.

Aug. 18 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a disturbance in the 2500 block of East Evanston. A 15-year-old juvenile with special needs did not want to go to school. They made several attempts to get her to go but were unsuccessful. Officers spoke with the mother about options and/or plans for her behavior and schooling.

Aug. 18 — Officer Chuck Trimmell, Sgt. Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a suspicious person with a knife in the 6600 block of North Broadway. They located a transient 66-year-old man who was walking to Virginia. He had no wants or warrants, and officers transported him to Southeast 36th and Kansas in Newton.

Aug. 18 — Lt. Hobert Capps monitored traffic in front of Chisholm Trail Elementary School in the 6000 block of Independence for traffic issues. No problems were observed.

Aug. 18 — Sgt. Keith Goodall, Det. Dwight Wilkes and Officer Brandon Green responded to the 100 block of East Osie in Wichita to recover a stolen auto. The vehicle had been partially stripped. It was impounded by North End Auto.

Aug. 18 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to disorderly conduct in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. The reporting party heard loud music coming from a neighbor's house. Officer did not hear any loud music, and a woman at the reporting part's home did not hear any loud music.

Aug. 18 — Officer Duane Schrag checked a business in the 5100 block of North Broadway after an alarm. The business and gates appeared secure, and the officer was unable to access the area that triggered the alarm. No property representative responded.

Aug. 18 — Officer Duane Schrag tried to contact a person in the 1900 block of East Fairchild who owned a vehicle found abandoned in Wichita. He was unable to make contact.

Aug. 17 — Officer Dustin Belton took a larceny report at the squad room. The victim reported someone entered their property overnight, taking items attached to vehicles and messing with several vehicles.

Aug. 17 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report from the 1400 block of East Denver. A woman reported that her husband drinking with another man and the other man sent her unwanted text messages.

Aug. 17 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a larceny report from the 1500 block of East 61st North. The victim reported leaving his Kindle Fire at the laundromat last night and it was gone when he went back to look for it. No serial numbers were available.

Aug. 17 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a general alarm in the 200 block of West 59th North. The building appeared to be locked, and no key holder was en route. Officer determined the alarm was false.

Aug. 17 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 400 block of West 61ste North. They arrested a passenger Derrick Phillips on a Kansas Department of Corrections warrant.

Aug. 17 — Sgt. Keith Goodall served a Park City court subpoena in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic.

Aug. 17 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted a motorist with a flat tire at 928 E. 61st North.

Aug. 16 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton checked the welfare of a juvenile in the 600 block of East Rollingview Drive. Officers contacted the juvenile and his father, who had been arguing over the child not getting his way. No injuries were seen.

Aug. 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a fraud report from the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive. The reporting party said someone used his information to withdraw funds from an account.

Aug. 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields checked the area of 63rd North and Broadway for a vehicle reportedly driving recklessly with the driver having a warrant. Officers did not locate the vehicle.

Aug. 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a disturbance over a taxi fare in the 700 block of East Beaumont. The fare was paid and no one wanted to file a report.

Aug. 16 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 1100 block of East 61st North. The reporting party reported possibly having contact with people they are not allowed to have contact with while trying to get items from their residence.

Aug. 16 — Officer Christopher Shields answered questions on the phone about how to obtain a protection from abuse order.

Aug. 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted Bel Aire police with checking a business that was just burglarized in the 4900 block of North Tierra Lakes Parkway.

Aug. 16 — Officers Christopher Shields and Andrew Corlis responded to 501 E. 63rd North for a report of a known person shooting a BB gun at the reporting party. The suspect was advised of the city ordinances and served with a no-trespass order.

Aug. 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Andrew Corlis responded to a business in the 900 block of East Connolly Court for a report of a fight involving four people. They checked the area and did not locate anyone.

Aug. 16 — Officer Andrew Corlis checked a motorist having problems with his motorcycle in the 5300 block of North Hydraulic. Help was on the way.

Aug. 16 — Officer Levi Herring stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 8500 block of North I-135. Officer also searched the vehicle but did not find anything. Both parties were released.

Aug. 16 — Officer Duane Schrag returned a phone call to a citizen.

Aug. 16 — Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring responded to an alarm in the 5100 block of North Lakewood Hills Boulevard. They found employees working in the house, and the alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 16 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted EMS in the 6200 block of North Independence.

Aug. 16 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Wichita police with a wrong-way driver on the interstate at I-235 and North Broadway.

Aug. 16 — Officer Levi Herring assisted a motorist in replacing a battery in the 3800 block of North I-135.

Aug. 15 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to an alarm in the 5500 block of North Mill Heights Drive. They were disregarded by the alarm company prior to arrival.

Aug. 15 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz responded to a report of several pit bulls fighting in a backyard in the 6300 block of North Scottsville. Officers spoke with the dogs' owner, who said they were just playing in the water. Officers did not see any signs of aggressive dog fighting.

Aug. 15 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by checking a building with three open doors in the 1500 block of East 77th North.

Aug. 15 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at 69th North and Broadway. Both vehicles were driven away from the scene.

Aug. 15 — Officer Dustin Belton took a vandalism report in the 2600 block of East Elk Run Court. Someone hit and destroyed the reporting party's mailbox overnight.

Aug. 15 — Officer Dustin Belton checked an abandoned vehicle with no tag in the 2600 block of East Burlington. Officer placed a 48-hour tow sticker on the vehicle.

Aug. 14 — Lt. Hobert Capps checked the welfare of a man in the 6200 block of North Independence. The calling party said her son came home intoxicated, started cooking and fell asleep. Everything appeared to be OK.

Aug. 13 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to vandalism in the 2500 block of East Fairchild. The reporting party said someone broke out his truck window overnight.

Aug. 13 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 900 block of East 61st North where an ex-husband was reportedly late for child custody exchange. Both parties were present when the officer arrived, and everything was OK.

Aug. 13 — Officer Christopher Shields arrested Ryan Asbell on a court commit at City Hall.

Aug. 13 — Officers Christopher Shields and Andrew Corlis assisted Kechi police with an injury accident in the 9700 block of North Hydraulic.

Aug. 13 — Officers Levi Herring and Andrew Corlis stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 7800 block of North I-135. They arrested Jeanette and Otoniel Villalobos on a Wichita warrant. Both parties were also in possession of a large amount of marijuana.

Aug. 12 — Officers Duane Schrag, Andrew Corlis, Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to an unknown call for EMS in the 500 block of East Rollingview.

Aug. 12 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to the 6000 block of North East Parkview for a possible disturbance between Westar Energy employees and a citizen. There was no disturbance, and the officers stood by until the job was completed.

Aug. 12 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 6200 block of North Broadway where a known person was in the business and needed to leave. Officers served the person with a trespass order.

Aug. 12 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to a suspicious vehicle in the 300 block of West 59th North. They contacted the vehicle's owner, and everything was fine.

Aug. 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke with a citizen who received a check and thinks it might be part of a scam.
