What's on your mind Last Updated: August 28, 2015 School board rubber stamp? Why is there a school board when all they accomplish is to rubber stamp and say yes to the superintendent? The board is there to represent the citizenry and also ensure proper use of the funds made available to the district. With both of those items they have failed miserably in the past and continue to fail. The past meeting is just the most recent example of their incompetence and refusal to listen to the taxpayer. If the school board cannot find waste in the budget and spending, then each should resign or be recalled for being unqualified to fulfill those positions and have competent people then appointed to those same positions. No need for a raise I think our church might have looked at their electrical bill. I guess they finally decided all the Boy Scout people didn't need a raise. Views from News readers |
