Aug. 12 — Officer Brandon Green responded to disorderly conduct in the 6000 block of North Air Cap Drive. The manager of a business reported a former employee being disorderly. Officer issued a no trespass order to the subject.

Aug. 12 — Officer Andrew Corlis was flagged down by a citizen regarding a parking violation in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. Officer located the vehicle and tagged it with a tow sticker.

Aug. 11 — Officer Chuck Trimmell, Det. Dwight Wilkes and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a suspicious person in the 900 block of East 53rd North. They contacted Michael Green and later arrested him on a charge of forgery.

Aug. 11 — Officer Chuck Trimmell arrested Jorge Fletes-Ramirez at the Sedgwick County jail on a Park City warrant.

Aug. 11 — Sgt. Richard Wolff and Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a suicidal person in the 6800 block of North I-135. They contacted the person who said he had gotten a flat tire on the way to get help. Sgt. Wolff transported the person at her request to a hospital.

Aug. 11 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a non-injury accident in the 1200 block of East Evanston.

Aug. 11 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to larceny in the 1300 block of East Evanston. The reporting party said an unknown person cut the padlocks off two sheds in the backyard and took the padlocks.

Aug. 11 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a non-injury vehicle vs. deer accident in the 7700 block of North Hydraulic.

Aug. 11 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to domestic violence in the 6300 block of North Hydraulic. The reporting party was involved in a verbal argument with her boyfriend.

Aug. 11 — Officer Andrew Corlis checked an unoccupied vehicle in the 7800 block of North I-135. He later tagged the vehicle with a tow sticker.

Aug. 11 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Duane Schrag responded to a general business alarm in the 1200 block of East 85th North. The business was checked, and the alarm deemed false.

Aug. 11 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Duane Schrag responded to an alarm in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. It was deemed to be false.

Aug. 11 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Duane Schrag responded to the 7500 block of North I-135 to assist Harvey County sheriff who were following a possibly suicidal subject. Sedgwick County sheriff transported the subject to a hospital for evaluation.

Aug. 10 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a juvenile sleeping in a parked vehicle in the 1900 block of East Cedar Tree. The juvenile was given a ride home, and the vehicle owner was brought to the car to pick it up.

Aug. 10 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to larceny in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck Drive. An unknown person removed the tag off of the reporting party's vehicle.

Aug. 10 — Sgt. Richard Wolff stickered an abandoned vehicle parked with its left wheels to the curb in the 1800 block of East Ravena.

Aug. 10 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a traffic stop in the 2400 block of East K-254.

Aug. 10 — Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted Kechi police with an alarm in the 300 block of East Cheyenne Court.

Aug. 10 — Officer Dustin Belton took additional information on a case at the station.

Aug. 10 — Officers Dustin Belton and Chuck Trimmell responded to a residential alarm in the 6700 block of North Hydraulic. They contacted the homeowner, who said everything was OK. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 10 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to an abandoned vehicle in the 2500 block of East 61st North. He contacted the owner, and the vehicle was pushed out of the way.

Aug. 10 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a dog left in a vehicle in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. The dog was found with the windows down, and the car running. The owner was contacted, and everything was fine.

Aug. 10 — Officer Christopher Shields took a report of a dog trying to jump into the calling party's backyard in the 6000 block of North Hydraulic. Code Enforcement contacted and talked with the dog's owner. Aug. 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 2500 block of East Windsong Court. The calling party reported being in a verbal disturbance with her 15-year-old son about him wanting to leave.

Aug. 10 — Officer Christopher Shields spoke with a person from the 4600 block of North Hydraulic who had questions about a protection from abuse order.

Aug. 10 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a hold-up alarm at a business in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. They spoke with an employee and determined the alarm was false.

Aug. 9 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz checked the welfare in the 6200 block of North Broadway. A business reported a man sitting in a vehicle in the parking lot yelling at people. The vehicle left the property prior to the officer's arrival.

Aug. 9 — Lt. Hobert Capps responded to an alarm in the 5900 block of North Air Cap Drive. The building was secure and no key holder responded. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 9 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to the 5900 block of Air Cap Drive for a report of a child being beaten by an adult. They contacted the father at his house, and he advised he was spanking his 7-year-old daughter.

Aug. 9 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton arrested Monica L. Muse in the 1700 block of East 61st North on Uniform Criminal Complaints for criminal deprivation and simple assault.

Aug. 9 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted EMS in the 4800 block of Steeds Crossing Court. Patient was transported to Wesley Medical Center.

Aug. 9 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a business alarm in the 5000 block of North Broadway. The building was secure, and no key holder responded. The alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 9 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a business alarm in the 5900 block of North Prospect. Key holder responded, and the alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 9 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a business alarm in the 400 block of East 61st North. They contacted a cleaning crew on the scene, and determined the alarm was false.

Aug. 9 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded with Sedgwick County fire to a report of heavy smoke in the 6300 block of North West Parkview. A resident had a burn barrel. Fire approved his fire tending.

Aug. 9 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Sedgwick County fire by checking for a gas odor at 501 E. 63rd North. A leak was fond, and the gas was shut off.

Aug. 9 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted a motorist whose vehicle had run out of gas at 101st North and I-135.

Aug. 8 — Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a report of a dog locked in a car in the the 900 block of East 53rd North. The windows were open and temperature was 74 degrees inside the car. The owner was contacted and he said the dog was left in the car during breakfast. No action was necessary.

Aug. 8 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz responded to an alarm in the 6000 block of North Broadway. They contacted an employee, and the alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 8 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to a burglary in the 1000 block of Bearhill Circle. The calling party reported an unknown person entered and took property from his residence.

Aug. 8 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Wichita police with locating a person in the 1800 block of Highridge.

Aug. 8 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to domestic violence in the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party had gotten into a verbal argument with another person. Both parties agreed to keep their distance for the night.

Aug. 8 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to the 2500 block of East Elk Run Court. A person in the house made a suicidal statement to a friend. The parents agreed to transport her to the hospital.

Aug. 8 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 500 block of East 63rd North. The calling party reported a dog keeping her awake. The officer contacted the owner of the dog, and he agreed to put the dog away.

Aug. 8 — Officer Duane Schrag stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1000 block of East 61st North. The passenger, Holly Nguyen, was arrested on a Wichita warrant.

Aug. 8 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Valley Center police in the 800 block of North Redbud with the report of loud music coming from a vehicle in the area. He was unable to locate any loud music.

Aug. 8 — Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring responded to the 5900 block of Air Cap Drive with an alarm check, after a passerby called 911 to report the alarm was going off. The alarm was unfounded and deemed false.

Aug. 8 — Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring assisted Sedgwick County EMS in the 6000 block of North East Parkview.

Aug. 8 — Officer Levi Herring assisted Valley Center police in the 900 block of East 53rd North. The calling party reported odor of marijuana emitting from a room. Officers contacted two people but nothing was located.

Aug. 7 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report of a lost driver's license at the police station.

Aug. 7 — Officers Edwyn Diaz, Dustin Belton and Chuck Trimmell responded to an auto theft in the 2500 block of East Evanston Circle. The calling party reported her daughter took her vehicle and assaulted her.

Aug. 7 — Officers Dustin Belton and Chuck Trimmell assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by checking the welfare of a person who threatened to harm herself in the 1800 block of East Ravena.

Aug. 7 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to theft of property in the 4900 block of North Shadow Lane.

Aug. 7 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to non-injury accident in the 5800 block of North I-135.

Aug. 7 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 4700 block of North Briargate. The calling party reported an unknown person taking items from her vehicle.

Aug. 7 — Officer Brandon Green took a report of a public accident at the police station. A person reported slipping on the sidewalk and having minor injuries.

Aug. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a non-injury accident in the 5400 block of North I-135. Both vehicles were drivable.

Aug. 7 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields assisted KHP with a six-vehicle injury accident in the 6000 block of North I-135.

Aug. 7 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 1400 block of East Cloverdale. The calling party reported getting into an argument with another person who left the scene. The person was located by the officer and given a ride home.

Aug. 7 — Officers Brandon Green, Christopher Shields, Levi Herring and Andrew Corlis responded to an assault in the 500 block of East 63rd North. They arrested Morgan Valladeras on a charge of battery.

Aug. 7 — Officers Levi Herring and Andrew Corlis assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a traffic stop. The deputy attempted to stop Joseph D. Bussart Jr. for a violation when Bussart fled the scene. Bussart was later stopped and arrested on charges of illegal possession of a firearm, possession of methamphetamine and on a Kansas Department of Corrections warrant.

Aug. 7 — Officer Andrew Corlis performed a welfare check in the 5500 block of North I-135. A vehicle was at the side of the road and not occupied. The vehicle was already stickered.

Aug. 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to an unknown accident at 61st North and I-135 in the southbound lanes. A truck was found to have slid off the road with no damage. An orange sticker was placed on the vehicle.

Aug. 6 — Officers Edwyn Diaz, Christopher Shields and Dustin Belton responded to an alarm in the 5800 block of North Broadway. The officers found the building to be secure, and the alarm was deemed false.

Aug. 6 — Officer Edwyn Diaz checked the welfare at 85th North and I-135. A towing company reported receiving a call  about an earlier accident  in which the calling party sounded intoxicated. The vehicle was still unoccupied, and KHP was on the scene.
