Pauline (Bryngelson) Rich, 92, died Aug. 15, 2015. She retired from the Sedgwick County Election Commission Office in 1985.

She was born February 11, 1923 in Wichita to Ephriam and Bertha (Scott) Bryngelson. She lived all but a few months of her life in Wichita, attending Kellogg Elementary School and graduating from East High School. She married Robert Otis Rich on May 30, 1942. She was a member of Valley Center Christian Church since 1954.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brothers George, John and Harvey; and sisters Emma, Miriam, and Ruth. Survivors include daughters Sharon (Fred) Pavey, Merelyn (Ray) Stites and Brenda (Steve) Peniston; grandchildren Ross (Shannon) Stites, Kevin (Rebecca) Pavey, Brian (Angie) Pavey, Britain (Mica) Stites, Bradye (Matt) Miller, Blake and Brock Peniston; and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 20 at Valley Center Christian Church, 85th North and Seneca. A memorial has been established with Valley Center Christian Church, 1801 East Fifth, Valley Center, KS 67147.
