Aug. 1 — Officers Brandon Green and Andrew Corlis conducted a business check in the 7300 block of North Wild West World.  All was well.

Aug. 1 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields responded to a suspicious character report in the 6100 block of North Air Cap.  The calling party requested assistance in locating his trucks after his drivers quit.  Trucks were located and the calling party was informed.

Aug. 1 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a miscellaneous report in the 900 block of East 61st North.  The calling party had questions about how to enforce her child custody paperwork.

Aug. 1 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a miscellaneous report in the 4800 block of North Ridge. Officer assisted Maize police by locating a suspect in a vehicle theft case.

July 31 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton, Sgt. Richard Wolff and a code enforcement officer responded to a report of a vicious animal in the 6000 block of North Hydraulic. The calling party reported a pit bull mix jumping on their fence and growling at her kids while playing in the backyard. The dog owner was contacted.

July 31 — Officer Dustin Belton responded on a miscellaneous service call in the 6300 block of North West Parkview. The resident complained that people were parking in front of his house when there are plenty of other spaces in the area to park.

July 31 — Officer Dustin Belton responded on a miscellaneous service call in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. A resident reported seeing and hearing a suspicious figure moving in his neighbor's yard.

July 31 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a miscellaneous service call in the 200 block of East 53rd North.  Officer was informed of vehicles mudding at a certain location.

July 31 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to 61st North and I-135.  Kansas Highway Patrol reported a vehicle driving around their barricade on the 61st North off ramp.

July 31 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Bel Air police in the 4100 block of North Auburn on a welfare check of a citizen.

July 31 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green performed a welfare check in the 6300 block of North I-135.  They checked on a report of juveniles skateboarding along the interstate.  Officers were unable to locate anyone matching the description.

July 31 — Officer Brandon Green performed a traffic stop in the 6200 block of north I-135.  The driver Paul Martinez was arrested on a charge of DUI.

July 31 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Bel Aire and Valley Center police on a suicide attempt in the 6300 block of North Scottsville. Officers were informed by a hospital that someone wanted to hurt themselves.  Contact was made with the person and they were later transported to the hospital for help.

July 31 — Officer Levi Herring responded to a report of a loud party in the 1300 block of East Denver.  The officer was unable to locate anyone.

July 31 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to the report of a suspicious character in the 1400 block of East Ashford Drive. The calling party reported someone knocking on a door and window in the area.  Officers did not find anyone in the area.

July 31 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson performed a traffic stop for a traffic infraction.  Joshua Blackwill and Denisha Shannon were arrested on Wichita warrants.

July 30 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted the Kansas Highway Patrol with a non-injury slide-off at 61st North and I-135.

July 30 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz assisted a stalled motorist in the 7200 block of North I-135. The motorist advised help was already on the way.

July 30 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to a 911 hang-up call in the 6500 block of North West Parkview.  The house was checked and found secure. The alarm was deemed false.

July 30 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to the 6700 block of North Wendell on a miscellaneous report.  The resident reported trying to sell items and receiving a suspicious check in payment.

July 30 — Officer Dustin Belton picked up Brittany J. Richard from the Sumner County Jail and transferred her to the Sedgwick County Jail where she was booked on a Park City warrant.

July 30 — Officer Brandon Green assisted in the arrest of Richard Manion in Hutchinson for a Park City Municipal Court warrant by faxing the warrant to the Reno County Jail where Richard was booked.

July 30 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to an assault call in the 5100 block of North Irving.  Resident reports acquiring a new friend and being physically assaulted by this new friend.

July 30 — Officer Brandon Green performed a business check in the 1500 block of East Broadbeck.  The business was found to have an open door.  The property owner was contacted.

July 30 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to the 6300 block of North Hydraulic on a miscellaneous report.  Reporting party said she was in a verbal argument with her ex-boyfriend.

July 30 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted Sedgwick County sheriff's deputies on a general alarm in the 900 block of East 54th North.  Nothing was found and the alarm was deemed false.

July 30 — Officer Levi Herring responded to a welfare check in the 5600 block of North Broadway.  Officer checked two subjects riding a bike in the street.  Both subjects were advised to stay out of the street.

July 30 — Officer Levi Herring assisted Valley Center police at West Industrial and South Ash with a traffic stop.

July 30 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a call from a resident in the 900 block of East 61st North.  The resident reported finding marijuana. The property was turned over to property and evidence.

July 29 — Officer Edwyn Diaz conducted a follow-up call in the 1500 block of East Harry.

July 29 — Officer Edwyn Diaz served municipal court papers in the 2600 block of East Burlington.

July 29 — Officer Andrew Corlis responded to a miscellaneous report in the 5500 block of North Mill Heights Drive.  The party contacted reports getting charges for a situation that did not occur.

July 29 — Officer Brandon Green responded to the 200 block of East 53rd North to a citizen who called stating that a report was made with Wichita police on his wife.

July 29 — Officer Andrew Corlis conducted a follow-up with the reporting party in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic to collect additional information on a prior case.

July 29 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green responded to a general alarm in the 5700 block of North Broadway.  The building was secure and the alarm was deemed false.

July 29 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green responded to a miscellaneous report in the 500 block of East 63rd North.  The party reports her daughter being out of control and not listening.  Officers arrived on scene and the daughter started to listen.

July 29 — Officers Corlis and Brandon Green responded to a report of an assault in the 500 block of East 63rd North.  The resident reports his wife being assaulted by their son. The juvenile was detained and later released back into the parents' custody.

July 29 — Officer Duane Schrag and Sgt. Trent Johnson performed a subject stop in the 6200 block of North East Parkview. Two juveniles were stopped and cited for curfew violations then released to their parents.

July 29 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Sedgwick County sheriff's deputies in the 500 block of West 69th North on a suspicious character report. The person walking in the area was walking to a friend's house.

July 28 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a report of a non-injury accident in the 1500 block of East Prairie Hill.

July 28 — Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted the fire department with a possible gas leak in the 400 block of East 61st North.

July 28 — Officer Andrew Corlis stopped a motorist in the 500 block of East 53rd North for having an unassigned license plate. The officer seized the plate.

July 28 — Officer Andrew Corlis took a phonecall at the police station from a citizen wanting them to perform a welfare check in the Navajo Trailer Park, but could not give an address. She was informed that officers could not do a welfare check without some form of address. The caller was asked to call back if she found out what the address was.

July 28 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a miscellaneous report in the 8900 block of North Ridgewood.  The resident reported hearing a dog barking and possibly the sound of someone trying to turn the door handle on the back door.  No evidence of foul play was found.

July 28 — Officer Duane Schrag and Sgt. Trent Johnson performed a subject stop in the 6000 block of North I-135.  A pedestrian was walking south on the interstate.  She was advised of the law for walking on the interstate and was given a ride back to the Presto Truck Stop.

July 27 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to an alarm at 5100 N. Newton Circle.  Upon arrival, the residence was found to be secure and the alarm was deemed false.

July 27 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields performed a traffic stop due to a violation. A suspect, Thomas Davis, was found to have a warrant out of Arington, Texas. He was arrested on the warrant.

July 27 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted EMS with an elderly female patient in the 6400 block of East Parkview.

July 27 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to 501 E. 63rd North to a report of a male juvenile sitting on a porch with a gash on his arm.  The juvenile said he was playing with a puppy and it scratched him.

July 27 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Christopher Shields responded to a report of a drunken driver in the 5300 block of North Arkansas. Brien Mason was arrested on a charge of DUI.

July 27 — Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring performed business and neighborhood patrols.
