Highlights Last Updated: August 06, 2015 Valley Center High School will host a meeting for parents of fall sports athletes Aug. 10. The meeting will be 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Students are encouraged to attend with their parents. Valley Center Intermediate School will host a Back to School night from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Aug. 11. Students will have the opportunity to get their class schedules and walk around the building. There will be a short informational meeting for parents at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. A Valley Center Middle School Junior Boosters meeting will be 6:30 p.m. Aug. 11 at the middle school. West Elementary Meet Your Teacher Night for grades pre-kindergarten through fourth will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 12. Abilene Elementary Open House and Meet Your Teacher Night will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 12 for first through fourth grades. Wheatland Elementary Open house will be 5:30 p.m. Aug. 12. School for Valley Center students will start next week. Students in grades one through five, seven and nine and students new to the district will start school Aug. 13. Students in grades six, eight, 10, 11 and 12 will start Aug. 14. An informational meeting for fall Valley Center Middle School athletics will be 6:30 p.m. Aug. 12 at the middle school. Students are encouraged to attend with their parents. Kindergarten Meet Your Teacher Night at Abilene Elementary will be from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Aug. 17. Kindergarten Meet Your Teacher Night at West Elementary will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Aug. 17. The first day of fall sports practice will be Aug. 17. Valley Center Middle School will host an open house from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 17. A parent meeting will take place at 6 p.m. |
