June 21 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a general burglary alarm at a business in the 300 block of East 49th North. The business owner advised he could not get to the key pad in time. The alarm was deemed false.

June 21 — Sgt. Keith Goodall checked a business in the 6200 block of North Broadway for a motorist previously called into KHP as a drunk driver. He was unable to locate the vehicle.

June 21 — Sgt. Keith Goodall was contacted by Wichita police regarding a case.

June 21 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a report of a male chasing a female in the 900 block of East 61st North. They spoke with the two individuals and neither wanted to report a crime.

June 21 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in looking for a suspicious person on a 4-wheeler in the 1800 block of East Harbor Light. They did not locate the suspect.

June 21 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields were dispatched to a 911 hang-up call at an unknown location in the trailer park at 501 E. 63rd North. A parent called back and said their child was playing with the phone and there was no emergency.

June 21 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted EMS in the 6300 block of North Mobile. EMS transported the patient to St. Francis.

June 21 — Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring found a juvenile in the 6300 block of North Jacksonville riding a bicycle in the dark, with no lights, after curfew. They contacted the juvenile's mother who came to pick him up. Officers spoke with both the mother and the juvenile about safety and curfew.

June 21 — Officers Levi Herring and Duane Schrag stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 6100 block of North I-135. Officers arrested the driver, Jordan R. Garza, and the passenger, Aydan S. Thompson, each on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and a large amount of raw marijuana.

June 21 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Duane Schrag responded to a 911 hang-up call near 53rd North and Fairview. They were unable to locate anything.

June 20 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff were dispatched to a general burglary alarm at a residence in the 1900 block of East Wyndham Road. The alarm company disregarded the officers prior to arrival.

June 20 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Kechi police who had requested a Spanish-speaking officer for a traffic stop at 37th North and Oliver.

June 20 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff assisted Sedgwick County fire with smoldering mulch near a business in the 1600 block of East 61st North.

June 20 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a report of a male appearing to be drunk and yelling at a person in front of a business in the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive. They spoke with the suspect and the other party.

June 20 — Officer Christopher Shields answered questions about search and seizure laws for a citizen in the 1000 block of East Evanston

June 20 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields assisted EMS in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic.

June 20 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to 61st North and Hydraulic to check for a woman running down the street with a man chasing her. Both parties said everything was OK. They were just out for a run.

June 20 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to the 2500 block of East Burlington where a man reported having thoughts of wanting to harm himself. A family member took him to Comcare.

June 20 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to the 6300 block of North Ulysses where a woman reported her daughter had run away from home. The daughter was located by Wichita police and released to the custody of her parents.

June 20 — Officers Levi Herring and Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to check for a person who called 911 for an unknown reason from the 12000 block of North I-135. They were unable to locate anyone.

June 19 — Officer Edwyn Diaz received correspondence in the mail regarding a case. The correspondence was submitted.

June 19 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Dustin Belton responded to a general alarm at a residence in the 5200 block of Lakewood Hills Boulevard. They spoke with an employee at the scene. No key holder arrived, and the alarm was deemed false.

June 19 — Officer Dustin Belton took a report of the loss of two fleet tags over the weekend from a business in the 5900 block of North Prospect.

June 19 — Officer Edwyn Diaz followed up with a citizen in the 2300 block of East Charleston regarding a civil matter.

June 19 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell were dispatched to check a motorcycle left on the side of the road near I-135 and 85th North. KHP said the motorcycle had been there since June 18 and had been red-tagged. Officers were disregarded.

June 19 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took an embezzlement report at the squad room. An attempt to locate the party was put out through dispatch.

June 19  — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a non-injury accident at 61st North and Hillside.

June 19 — Officer Chuck Trimmell located several items while cleaning out the rear cargo area of a patrol car at the squad room. The items were submitted to property and evidence.

June 19 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to a disturbance in the 6500 block of North Randall. They spoke with the residents who said everything was verbal in nature.

June 19 — Officer Brandon Green took a larceny report from the 900 block of East 61st North. A citizen reported someone broke out a passenger window in her vehicle and took an item.

June 19 — Officer Brandon Green reported that Wichita police arrested Maricela Corona on a Park City warrant.

June 19 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Brandon Green, Christopher Shields and Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at 61st North and Hydraulic. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

June 18 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted EMS with a truck driver at a business in the 6200 block of North Broadway.

June 18 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to a non-injury accident in the 6900 block of North I-135. A motorist reported being rear-ended by an unknown driver who left the scene.

June 18 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Henry Spurlock responded to a report of reckless driving near 45th North and Hydraulic. The calling party said a vehicle passed him at a high rate of speed heading north on Hydraulic. Officers checked the area but did not locate the suspect vehicle.

June 18 — Officer Dustin Belton contacted residents at a home in the 1600 block of East Lancaster as part of a follow-up.

June 18 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz were dispatched to prevent a disturbance between two individuals in the 1000 block of Hopalong Cassidy Circle. They learned it was a miscommunication between them and no assistance was needed.

June 18 — Officer Edwyn Diaz answered questions on the phone regarding a civil matter.

June 18 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a parking violation in the 600 block of East 61st North. The calling party said a trailer with a car was parked on the side of the street. Officer contacted the owner.

June 18 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to a transient male behind a business in the 6200 block of North Broadway. Officers located the man and gave him a ride to Newton.

June 18 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a hold-up alarm in the 1600 block of East 61st North. The alarm was deemed false.

June 18 — Officer Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in the 3400 block of West 53rd North by transporting a person to a residence in Maize.

June 18 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 109th North and I-135 for people throwing eggs off the bridge onto the highway. They found and stopped the suspects. When a deputy arrived, he told the suspects to go home.

June 18 — Officers Levi Herring and Andrew Corlis and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle in the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive. The odor of raw marijuana was detected during the stop and small amounts were found throughout the vehicle. Officers issued a Uniform Criminal Complaint for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia to the driver.

June 18 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson were dispatched to assist EMS in the 1600 block of East Lancaster. They were disregarded prior to arrival.

June 17 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to larceny in the 6500 block of North Longmont. The calling party reported an unknown person entered her vehicle and removed several items.

June 17 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report from the 6100 block of North Hydraulic of employees finding an odd letter in a drop box.

June 17 — Officer Chuck Trimmell signed off on a fix-it ticket for a citizen at the station.

June 17 — Officer Dustin Belton served subpoenas at various locations in the city.

June 17 — Officer Dustin Belton and Sgt. Richard Wolff tried to check the welfare of a citizen in the 1600 block of East Lancaster at the request of Department of Children and Families. They were unable to contact anyone.  

June 17 — Officer Dustin Belton checked a person sitting on the bridge in the 700 block of East 61st North who said he was on his way to Nebraska. Everything was OK.

June 17 — Officer Dustin Belton was dispatched to contact a person regarding a stolen dealer's tag in the 1300 block of East 61st North. After learning the person was at a business in Kechi, the officer notified Kechi police.

June 17 — Officer Dustin Belton spoke with construction workers in the 1600 block of East Evanston regarding a parking complaint. The workers said the vehicles and the mess would be moved by the end of the day.

June 17 — Officer Dustin Belton and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a disturbance between two people in the 900 block of East 53rd North. Witnesses said it was verbal only.

June 17 — Lt. Hobert Capps, Sgts. Richard Wolff and Keith Goodall and Officers Chuck Trimmell and Dustin Belton responded to the 1800 block of East Gary for a report of two missing children. The mother had located the children and brought them home.

June 17 — Officer Brandon Green responded to assault in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The reporting party reported unwanted touching by another person.

June 17 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a non-injury accident in the 300 block of East 53rd North. A vehicle struck the reporting party's vehicle while dropping off a trailer. The driver of the striking vehicle did not stop.

June 17 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Duane Schrag and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to the 1900 block of East Homewood. The calling party reported being distraught and having suicidal thoughts. The calling party agreed to go do Comcare.

June 17 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officers Duane Schrag and Andrew Corlis assisted EMS near 101st North and I-135 with a truck driver who had tried crystal meth to stay awake. EMS transported the patient to Newton Medical Center.

June 16 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to a burglary in the 5900 block of North Air Cap Drive. An employee reported someone took several items from the business overnight.

June 16 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted a welfare check of children playing in the street in the 1500 block of East Evanston and contacted a homeowner at her front door. Upon further investigation, the homeowner agreed to turn over the drug paraphernalia in her house. The homeowner was issued a Uniform Criminal Complaint.

June 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to assist EMS in the 200 block of East 53rd North. EMS transported the patient to Wesley Medical Center.

June 16 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall stopped a vehicle in the 5300 block of North Wichita for numerous traffic violations. The officer had seen Donald Engelhardt II driving the vehicle, although he said the actual driver had fled on foot. They arrested Engelhardt on charges of interference with a law enforcement officer, driving while a habitual violator, driving while revoked, expired tag, altered tag, no insurance, defective windshield and a Sedgwick County warrant.

June 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Brandon Green responded to check the welfare of a female lying in a field in the 2100 block of East 61st North. The woman became combative with EMS and was transported to St. Joseph.

June 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall checked on a vehicle parked outside a home for more than 10 minutes in the 2500 block of East Charleston. Officer spoke with the driver who was talking on the phone.

June 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a business in the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive for a disturbance over the amount of gas paid for and pumped.

June 16 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Brandon Green responded to assault at 501 E. 63rd North. The calling party said the suspect came out of a house and approached the calling party's son with a knife.

June 16 — Officer Brandon Green assisted EMS in the 1800 block of East Evanston.  EMS transported a patient to Newton Medical Center.

June 16 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Duane Schrag and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to the 2400 block of East Evanston where the calling party reported that her ex-husband slammed their son against the wall and took him down the stairs by the neck.

June 15 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted a motorist stuck in the median on I-135 near 53rd North until KHP arrived and took over.

June 15 — Officer Edwyn Diaz answered questions on the phone from a resident regarding an eviction notice.

June 15 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to larceny in the 700 block of East Beaumont. An employee reported a known suspect left the business without paying for services.

June 15 — Officer Dustin Belton checked on a person taking a nap in the 800 block of East Echo Hills Drive. Everything was OK.

June 15 — Officer Christopher Shields served a subpoena in the 1500 block of East Cloverdale.

June 15 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields and Sedgwick County sheriff responded to a report of an open door at a closed business in the 7300 block of North Hydraulic. They checked the building, and everything appeared to be OK.

June 15 — Officer Levi Herring found an inoperable vehicle in the 5400 block of North I-135. He placed a 48-hour sticker on the vehicle.

June 15 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Valley Center police with a hold-up alarm at a business in the 1500 block of South Meridian. The alarm was later deemed to be false.

June 14 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 1400 block of East Frontenac where the reporting party reported seeing events that weren't happening. The family advised it is aware of the situation.

June 14 — Officer Christopher Shields spoke with a person looking for a ride in the 6100 block of North I-135. Everything was OK.

June 14 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to a disturbance at a business in the 1700 block of East 61st North. An employee reported a male and female got into a verbal argument and left in separate vehicles heading south on Hydraulic.

June 14 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to assault in the 4700 block of North Steeds Crossing. The reporting party said another person punched her in the stomach and left the scene prior to the officers' arrival.

June 14 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Duane Schrag checked a person in the 900 block of East 61st North. They transported the subject to Newton.

June 14 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Duane Schrag assisted Valley Center police in blocking the 9500 block of North Broadway due to flooding.

June 14 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a report of someone sleeping in an open business in the 1500 block of East 61st North. The person left after being asked to do so.

June 14 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a non-injury accident in the 6800 block of North I-135. A woman said a semitrailer ran her off the road. There was no damage, and the officer assisted the woman in getting her car out of the ditch.

June 13 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Richard Wolff responded to the 1000 block of East 53rd North for a reported suicidal person saying he wanted to kill himself by running out into traffic. EMS transported the person to St. Joseph's Hospital for evaluation.

June 13 — Officer Edwyn Diaz was asked to call a dog owner who wanted to report his Chihuahua had jumped out of his vehicle in Park City.

June 13 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to a 911 hang-up call from the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. Officers checked the building, and it appeared no one was there.

June 13 — Officer Duane Schrag confirmed a warrant for Alandress Winburn who was arrested by Wichita police.

June 13 — Officer Duane Schrag was flagged down by a citizen who reported someone stealing a dealer's tag off his truck.

June 13 — Officer Duane Schrag was dispatched to assist Valley Center police with a 911 hang-up call at 120 W. Main. He was disregarded prior to arrival.

June 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the stop sign at the intersection of Kerman and Fairchild. No violations were seen.

June 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz called Department of Children and Families to follow-up on a case.

June 12 — Officer Dustin Belton spoke with a woman regarding larceny in the 6700 block of North Randall. The calling party said someone had gone through her and her husband's vehicles. Nothing was taken and a report was refused. The call was for informational purposes only.

June 12 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Sedgwick County fire in the 1700 block of East 61st North by blocking the entrance to a business while a vehicle fire was extinguished.

June 12 — Officer Dustin Belton went to the Reno County jail to pick up Alexander Krepps on a Park City warrant.

June 12 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields and Valley Center police responded to a non-injury accident in the 8500 block of North Broadway. A motorist had pulled out into the intersection and was struck by another vehicle. One vehicle was towed from the scene, and the other was driven away.

June 12 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Duane Schrag spoke with a homeowner in the 6100 block of North East Parkview regarding coming from her residence. She agreed to keep the noise down.

June 12 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a rollover accident in the 12500 block of North I-135 but was not needed upon arrival.

June 12 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Duane Schrag stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of East 61st North for traffic violations. They arrested Joel Rodriguez Jr. on a charge of driving with a suspended license and on an arrest warrant.

June 11 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz conducted traffic enforcement at the stop sign at Kerman and Fairchild.

June 11 — Officer Dustin Belton answered questions from a calling party with questions about past cases and the neighborhood in the 6000 block of North East Parkview.  

June 11 — Officer Dustin Belton took a report about a possible suspect slashing and scratching the calling party's vehicle at 501 E. 63rd North,

June 11 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a business in the 4800 block of North Broadway where an employee reported losing a tag off a vehicle.

June 11 — Officer Brandon Green took a report of disorderly conduct at the station. The reporting party was flipped off by another person while they were leaving court.

June 11 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green, Det. Dwight Wilkes, Lt. Hobert Capps and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a medical situation in the 6600 block of North Hydraulic.

June 11 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to vandalism in the 6500 block of North West Parkview. The calling party said an unknown person shot at her back window.

June 11 —Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to the 6600 block of North Hydraulic for a report of two juvenile males walking along Hydraulic shaking power lines. Officers were unable to locate anyone in the area that matched the descriptions.

June 11 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Valley Center police in trying to locate an elderly male who had left his house in the 700 block of East Butler. The man was located later in Wichita.

June 11 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to a suspicious person in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic. The caller said an unknown person rode a dirt bike around the pond and then went back through the wooded area. Officers searched the area but did not locate anyone matching the description.

June 11 — Officer Levi Herring responded to disorderly conduct at 501 E. 63rd North. The calling party reported a person from another county had sent him a text message, called him and made rude comments. Officer told the citizen to make a report with Kingman County.

June 11 — Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 6600 block of North Hydraulic. The driver, Chris Valyo Jr., was arrested on a charge of DUI.

June 10 — Officer Dustin Belton answered questions about evictions from a citizen on the telephone.

June 10 — Officer Dustin Belton took a fraud report from the 6900 block of North Wendell Court. The calling party found unauthorized charges on his bank account.

June 10 — Officer Dustin Belton and Sgts. Richard Wolff and Keith Goodall responded to a verbal argument in the 1000 block of East Evanston. Both parties agreed to work things out.

June 10 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green went to a local business in the 5400 block of North Chuzy regarding an upcoming event.

June 10 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green responded to the 1500 block of East 61st North for several items found on the sidewalk.

June 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to assist Bel Aire police with a general alarm in the 5900 block of Clarendon. The alarm was deemed false.

June 10 — Officer Duane Schrag spoke at the squad room with a citizen on the phone regarding bond on a person in Pratt County. Officer referred the caller to Pratt County.

June 10 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Duane Schrag responded to the 6000 block of North Hattan Drive for two people walking around the closed business. They spoke with the individuals, and everything was OK.

June 10 — Officer Duane Schrag watch for motorists running the stop sign at Kerman and Fairchild.

June 9 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to the 1600 block of East Gary where a citizen reported the wire fence in her front yard had been knocked over again. The officer assisted her in putting the fence back. He requested extra patrol in the area.

June 9 — Officer Dustin Belton took an assault report at the station. A woman said her brother had been physical with her June 5.
