The average price for a gallon of gas in the Wichita area rose 7.1 cents during the past week, averaging $2.62 on June 14. The church will show a movie in Lions Park at 8:30 a.m. July 11 and again at 8:30 p.m. Aug. 8. The church will host a movie, cookout and inflatables from 6 to 10 p.m. Sept. 12 in McLaughlin Park. During its meeting June 16, the Valley Center City Council approved the church's use of the parks. … You may notice some additional roadwork in Valley Center over the next several weeks.
