GEORGANNA JACKSON Last Updated: June 18, 2015 Georganna (Haughey) Jackson, 97, of Valley Center, died June 16. 2015. She was born in Sheridan, Ind., to Hal Abel Haughey and Mary Agnes (Roach) Haughey. She graduated in 1936 from North High School in Wichita. She married Victor Aaron Jackson March 18, 1936, in Wichita. She was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church in Valley Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, mother Mary Haughey, parents and brother Francis Haughey. Survivors include daughters Peggy (Tim) Wagner and Vicki (Arnold) Stoner, all of Valley Center; grandchildren Taylor (Teal) Pearson, Kevin (Pam) Stoner, Lanna Niebuhr, Micca Bentley, Daron Kalp, Dennis (Wendy) Kalp, Dustin (Marna) Kalp, Shelby (Ben) Smith and Nikki (Ben) Chavez; 18 great-grandchildrenl six great-great-grandchildren; caregiver Vinell Howard; and many other family and friends. Visitation is from 5 to 7 p.m. June 18 with service at 10 a.m. June 19, both at First United Methodist Church, Valley Center. Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center has charge. |
