Bethany Arneson of Valley Center and Hillary Hunsinger of Bel Aire have been named to honor rolls for the spring semester at Pittsburg State University.

Hunsinger, a senior, was named to the All-A Scholastic list. To qualify for this list, a student must complete at least 12 semester hours, receive a grade of A in all credit course work for the semester and have no grade of I in any course during the semester.

Arneson, a junior, received the Dean's Scholastic Honors. To qualify for this list, a student must complete at least 12 semester hours with a grade point average of at least 3.60 for all credit course work that semester, have no grade lower than a B and no grade of I in any course during the semester.

The following area students were named to the Dean's Honor Roll for the spring 2015 semester at Southwestern College in Winfield:

From the Bel Aire area: Khalid Al Molahi, Mohammed Alamer, Daniel Reffner and Gregory Reffner. From the Park City area: Rayan Alwahbi, David Cross, Susanna Killgore and Kristina Williard.

Full-time students who earned a grade point average of at least 3.70 were eligible for the honor.

Southwestern College is a private institution granting undergraduate and graduate degrees and is affiliated with the United Methodist Church. About 1,700 students attend classes at the main Winfield campus, at six professional studies sites in Kansas and Oklahoma, or online around the world.

The Park City Senior Center will host a dance from 7 to 10 p.m. June 6 and will celebrate the birthdays of Yvonne Washington and Lee Maynard. The Wildwood Band will be playing.
