May 17 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded with a Sedgwick County deputy sheriff to a disturbance at 1075 Hopalong Cassidy Drive. They determined that Jeremy Whittaker broke the victim's cellphone. Officers arrested Whittaker on a charge of domestic violence criminal damage.

May 17 — Officer Levi Herring assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a traffic stop in the 4400 block of North I-135.

May 17 — Officer Duane Schrag warned a citizen about being in the park, 6801 N. Hydraulic, after hours.

May 16 — Officer Edwyn Diaz was dispatched to assist EMS in the 6500 block of North Hydraulic. Officer monitored the call.

May 16 — Officers Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in taking a wanted person into custody in the 6400 block of North Scottsville.

May 16 — Officer Edwyn Diaz was asked to call a citizen about post office hours. The citizen was concerned that some outgoing mail he placed in his mailbox last night was gone about 8 a.m. this morning. He wasn't sure if the post office picked up the mail or if it was stolen.

May 16 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff responded to an unknown call for EMS at 915 E. 53rd North. EMS was leaving when officers arrived, as there was no patient.

May 16 — Officer Richard Wolff responded to disorderly conducted in the 6900 block of North Grove. The victim was still receiving unwanted text messages from the same number in this case.

May 16 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff responded to a dog at-large in the 1400 block of East Frontenac. They found the dog at Denver and East Parkview. The dog's owner was notified, and the dog was picked up.

May 16 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff responded to vandalism in the 6300 block of North Mobile Drive. The victim saw a known suspect break out the driver's window of a vehicle at Jardine Park, using what appeared to be a wooden stick.

May 16 — Officers Richard Wolff and Christopher Shields assisted a stranded motorist in the 5300 block of North Broadway. They provided traffic control until the vehicle could be moved from the road.

May 16 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green interviews a juvenile suspect in the 6300 block of North Hydraulic regarding a case. The suspect admitted breaking the vehicle's window in this case. The suspect's father agreed to replace the window.

May 16 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green confirmed a Park City warrant to Wichita police for Habib Halhab, who was arrested.

May 16 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Brandon Green responded to a non-injury accident in the 900 block of West 69th North. The driver reported being eastbound and slid off the road while making a right-hand turn.

May 16 — Officer Christopher Shields checked the area of the 10100 block of North I-135 for a possible drunk driver. He was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

May 16 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a general alarm covering back windows in the 4600 block of North Briargate Court. The residence appeared to be secure, and the alarm was deemed false.

May 16 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields responded to an abandoned vehicle in the 7700 block of North Broadway. The vehicle was towed to North End Auto because it was a traffic hazard.

May 16 — Officer Andrew Corlis checked on a motorist who was stalled on the exit ramp in the 6200 block of North I-135. The driver had someone on the way to help.

May 16 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Brandon Green and Christopher Shields took a report from the 1500 block of East 61st North of someone being in or around the reporting party's backyard.

May 16 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Levi Herring responded to the 10000 block of North I-135 for a non-injury accident. They arrested Ryan P. Welker on a charge of DUI. The vehicle was impounded by North End Auto.

May 16 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Levi Herring assisted Bel Aire police with a burglary in-progress in the 4300 block of North Rushwood Court. The house was checked and nothing was found.

May 16 — Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted the Wichita police gang unit in trying to locate a wanted juvenile in the 1200 block of East 61st North.

May 16 — Sgt. Trent Johnson, Sedgwick County sheriff, Maize police and Bel Aire police responded to the 1400 block of East Denver. The victim reported that a person unknown to her entered her residence and unlawfully restrained her and her four children. Officers arrested Willis Murphy on charges of criminal trespass, unlawful restraint and criminal damage, along with a warrant out of Sequoyah, Okla.

May 15 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a larceny in the 4800 block of North Broadway. A business reported the theft of 29 used batteries, valued at $580.

May 15 — Officer Edwyn Diaz was dispatched to assist EMS in the 1400 block of East Cloverdale. Officer monitored the call.

May 15 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report at the station from a citizen who received an email from her brother, holding her responsible for the death of their father last year.

May 15 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report of a non-injury accident at 61st North and Broadway.

May 15 — Officer Dustin Belton monitored traffic near 61st North and Independence.

May 15 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to a larceny in the 300 block of East 49th North. The victim said someone took several batteries from the business overnight.

May 15 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to check a person in the 6200 block of North Broadway who was either locked out of their car or trying to break into a car. He spoke with the vehicle's owner, who was locked out of the vehicle. No assistance was required.

May 15 — Officer Dustin Belton was dispatched to contact an out-of-state citizen with questions about his property.

May 15 — Officer Brandon Green monitored school traffic at 6015 N. Independence.

May 15 — Officer Brandon Green answered questions from a citizen in the 1300 block of East Beaumont.

May 15 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to look for a pit bull running at-large in the neighborhood of the 1300 block of East Evanston. He was unable to locate a dog matching the description.

May 15 — Officer Christopher Shields responded for people playing music too loud in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. He spoke with the musicians, and they agreed to keep the music down.

May 15 — Officer Brandon Green was dispatched to a child locked in a vehicle in the 5100 block of North Broadway. Sedgwick County fire opened the vehicle, and everyone had left prior to the officer's arrival.

May 15 — Officer Brandon Green responded to located property in the 1000 block of East 61st North. A citizen reported seeing a bicycle lying in the grass that he claimed was taken from his residence earlier in the day. The citizen did not know it was missing until he saw it here. It was unknown if the man's son rode it here and left it, as the chain was off. The bike was collected and taken home.

May 15 — Officer Christopher Shields saw two dogs roaming the streets in the 900 block of East 53rd North. He contacted the dogs' owners and the dogs were returned to their owners.

May 15 — Officer Brandon Green checked a residence in the 4800 block of North Heritage looking for the owner of a vehicle left in west Wichita that was blocking traffic. Officer was unable to contact anyone at the residence.

May 15 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green responded to disorderly conduct in the 6900 block of North Grove. A woman reported an unknown person had placed a personal ad on Craigslist, and she was receiving unwanted phone calls and text messages.

May 15 — Officer Brandon Green picked up paperwork from a citizen for Officer Chuck Trimmell.

May 15 — Officer Levi herring took a report from 501 E. 63rd North from a woman who said her ex-boyfriend took some of her things when he moved out.

May 15 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Levi Herring assisted Valley Center police with a domestic violence with a weapon call. Officers were first on the scene, and they detained one of the parties involved. Individuals were turned over to Valley Center police when they arrived.

May 14 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a general alarm in the 7800 block of North Hartman Arena Drive covering the southwest shop door. Several employees and a manager said they accidentally set off the alarm, which was deemed false.

May 14 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the school zone in the 1200 block of East 61st North. He issued one citation for speeding.

May 14 — Officers Dustin Belton and Edwyn Diaz responded to a suspicious person in the 2600 block of East Elk Run Court. A resident reported an unknown man who did not belong at the house ringing its doorbell. The suspect was last seen leaving in a truck headed west of 61st North. Officers did not locate the suspect vehicle.

May 14 — Officer Dustin Belton checked on a motorist in the 5300 block of North Hydraulic. The vehicle's oil light had come on, and the motorist had help on the way.

May 14 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted traffic control and enforcement in the school area in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 14 — Officer Dustin Belton assisted EMS in the 6000 block of North Independence. The patient was transported by EMS to a hospital.

May 14 — Officer Brandon Green arrested Tyrone Richardson at City Hall on a court commit.

May 14 — Officers Brandon Green and Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to an assault in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. A citizen reported that another person struck him twice with a closed hand outside a business.

May 14 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. The calling party reported the smell of marijuana coming from her bathroom because of her upstairs neighbor. The officer did not smell marijuana and tried to contact the neighbor.

May 14 — Officer Christopher Shields monitored traffic in and around the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 14 — Officer Christopher Shields helped a citizen in the 6200 block of North Jacksonville determine if the window tint on a vehicle she was considering purchasing was legal.

May 14 — Officer Christopher Shields provided traffic control for KHP in the 1500 block of East 53rd North where a school bus had broken down.

May 14 — Officers Christopher Shields and Brandon Green checked the welfare of a truck driver who had been parked in a lot in the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive since May 7. The driver was contacted, and he appeared to be OK.

May 14 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted EMS in the 6400 block of North Tarrytown. EMS transported the patient to a hospital.

May 14 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a reckless driver in the 10000 block of North I-135. Multiple reports were received of a semitrailer driving on the shoulder to pass vehicles and weaving in and out of traffic from shoulder to shoulder. Officer checked the area up to 125th North.

May 14 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officers Christopher Shields and Brenda Adams checked the welfare of a citizen who was not feeling well in the 900 block of East 53rd North. The citizen had called his doctor to advise his medication was not working and he was having suicidal thoughts. Officers stayed with the citizen until his brother arrived and took him to the hospital.

May 14 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officers Christopher Shields and Brenda Adams responded to the 5800 block of North Fairview where a resident wanted a no-trespass order placed on her neighbor. They gave the order to the neighbor, who was told to stay off the complaining party's property.

May 14 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle in the 6200 block of North I-135. Two occupants were found to be in possession of marijuana. Officer seized the marijuana and released the occupants.

May 14 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a larceny in the 4800 block of North Broadway where a business reported the theft of several items.

May 13 — Offices Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff monitored school zone traffic in the 1100 block of East 61st North. One violator was cited.

May 13 — Officer Andrew Corlis took a report at the station of a suspicious person. An employee reported a teenage female came into the lobby of the business at approximately 10:30 p.m. May 12 and left minutes later.

May 13 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Dustin Belton collected additional information at the station about a case.

May 13 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff assisted Bel Aire police with a traffic stop in the 3900 block of North Broadway.

May 13 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted traffic control in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 13 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a non-injury accident in the 6000 block of East 61st North. A motorist reported being rear-ended by another motorist. Both vehicles were drivable. Officer issued multiple citations to the second driver.

May 13 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a larceny in the 1300 block of East Ashford. A homeowner reported several lights being removed from his property over the past month.

May 13 — Officer Brandon Green did follow-up work on a case and served a Uniform Criminal Complaint for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on a suspect in the 5900 block of North Air Cap Drive. The suspect was released on the scene.

May 13 — Officer Duane Schrag picked up a business emergency contact form in the 400 block of East 61st North.

May 12 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff monitored school zone traffic in the 1100 block of East 61st North. One violator cited.

May 12 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff monitored school zone traffic in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 12 — Officer Andrew Corlis assisted a motorist in the 5400 block of North Hydraulic. The driver said she was lost and needed to know where she was. Officer advised the driver as to how to get going in the correct direction.

May 12 — Officer Andrew Corlis took additional information for a case at the station.

May 12 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to vandalism in the 2000 block of East Fairchild. The reporting party said her son was throwing and breaking a school-issued iPad. There was a large amount of damage to the iPad screen and case.

May 12 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a fraud report from the 1400 block of East Denver. A citizen reported some charges on her credit card that she did not make.

May 12 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a burglary at a business in the 6200 block of North Broadway. An employee said an unknown woman remained in the store after closing and left with items.

May 12 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a hit-and-run accident in the 1600 block of East 69th North. Sedgwick County sheriff arrived to work the scene.

May 12 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a parking violation in the 5400 block of North Broadway. He placed a tow sticker on a trailer with no tag parked on the west side of the street.

May 12 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a deer vs. vehicle accident in the 7100 block of North Hydraulic. It was determined the accident occurred in Sedgwick County. The sheriff's office was notified, and a deputy arrived to work the scene.

May 12 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to check the welfare in the 6300 block of North West Parkview. An anonymous caller reported a child had been left in a vehicle at this location. Officer checked the area but did not locate a child in a vehicle.

May 12 — Officer Duane Schrag confirmed a Park City warrant for Alexander Krepps, who was arrested by Wichita police.

May 11 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence. No violations were seen.

May 11 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted traffic enforcement in the 1200 block of East 61st North.

May 11 — Officer Dustin Belton called a citizen and answered questions about someone being in jail.

May 11 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to the 2000 block of East Ravena where an AT&T employee had been seen jumping a fence. Officer spoke with the employee who said they were unable to contact the homeowner and needed to get ready to lay cable.

May 11 — Officer Andrew Corlis was asked to contact a citizen regarding a dog with tags. Officer asked Code Enforcement to contact the citizen.

May 11 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff monitored school zone traffic in the 6100 block of North Independence.

May 11 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff conducted follow-up on a case in the 500 block of East 63rd North.

May 11 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report from a business owner in the 6500 block of North Broadway. The owner reported receiving a suspicious email about a request for a quote for transmission repair.

May 11 — Officer Christopher Shields monitored traffic in and around the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 11 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a disturbance in the 6500 block of North Hydraulic. A citizen said her neighbor shot an arrow into their own garage. The archers were contacted and they agreed to find another place to practice.

May 11 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a parking complaint in the 2400 block of East Gary. A citizen complained about a vehicle parked in the street that had not been moved for a long time. Officer spoke with a homeowner in the area who said the vehicle belonged to a friend who works the night shift and was staying with him. The homeowner said the vehicle was moved every night.

May 11 — Officer Christopher Shields and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to disorderly conduct in the 1300 block of East Beaumont. A citizen reported a known person driving up to his house, revving the engine, making some sort of hand gesture and then speeding away. Officers spoke with the driver at his house.

May 11 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report from the 500 block of East 63rd North. A citizen reported that his ex-wife loaned his vehicle to a person in Newton, where she lives, and did not immediately return it. The vehicle was later located at an impound yard in Wichita. Officer referred the citizen to Newton police for any criminal charges.

May 10 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz responded to 501 E. 63rd North where a citizen reported his neighbor smoking marijuana on his porch. Officers did a knock and talk at this location, and a man would not let them into the residence, nor would he come outside to talk. He refused to give officers his name or any information.

May 10 — Officers Edwyn Diaz, Richard Wolff and Andrew Corlis responded to the 1800 block of East Ventnor. A woman said her son was being verbally abusive toward her and was out of control.

May 10 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report from a citizen who wanted extra patrol at her residence due to a suspicious vehicle recently seen parked in front of her house.

May 10 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff took a supplemental report from a nurse at Galachia Hospital, 2610 N. Woodlawn, who said a known subject came into the emergency room May 8 for injuries. Officers tried to contact the subject, but she refused to talk with them.  

May 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall confirmed a Park City bench warrant for Ashlee Taylor to Wichita police, who arrested Taylor on the warrant.

May 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a report of a female standing on the 69th North bridge over I-135 and then running off into the grass. Officers did not find anyone in the area.

May 10 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 4900 block of North Broadway for a report of three juvenile males shooting guns near the railroad tracks in the drainage canal. They did not hear any shots, nor did they locate anyone.

May 10 — Officer Christopher Shields was asked to speak with a citizen at the station about an accident he was involved in the night of May 9. The subject had already contacted Valley Center police about the accident because it happened in its jurisdiction.

May 10 — Officer Levi Herring responded to vandalism in the 1300 block of East Beaumont. The reporting party said someone put a ladder against his house and damaged a window screen.

May 10 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to 501 E. 63rd North where a woman had brought a large dog into her house after it had walked around the neighborhood all day. Officer left an email and voice message for compliance to contact the woman when they returned to work May 11.

May 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz was dispatched to assist EMS in the 1600 block of East Gary. He did not respond but monitored the call.

May 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a general residential alarm in the 6300 block of North Chisholm Pointe Court. Upon arrival, he contacted the homeowner who said the alarm had been set off accidentally.

May 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a general alarm covering the office and shop motion in the 5700 block of North Broadway. He checked the business and everything appeared to be OK. There was no key holder.

May 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Wichita police in checking for a semitrailer involved in a hit and run at 29th North and Broadway. Officer checked the 5300 block of North Broadway but did not locate the vehicle.

May 9 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff assisted a motorist having trouble turning off his interior light in the 5300 block of North I-135. The problem was solved, and the motorist left the scene.

May 9 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff responded to the area of 61st North and Hydraulic to look for a vehicle that kept circling the neighborhood. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

May 9 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz assisted EMS at 1229 E. 85th North. The patient was transported to Wesley Medical Center.

May 9 — Officers Andrew Corlis, Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz responded to a disturbance in the 1900 block of East Ravena. A citizen reported seeing two kids hitting and slamming a dog on the ground. Officers were unable to locate the kids.

May 9 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff responded to a report of two dogs chasing geese around the pond in the 6400 block of North Grove. Officers were unable to locate the dogs.

May 9 — Officers Andrew Corliss and Richard Wolff took a report from 501 E. 63rd North. EMS advised a known person came into the medic post wanting them to take pictures of what she said were injuries. EMS took the pictures and wanted police to know.

May 9 — Officer Christopher Shields stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 6200 block of North Broadway. He arrested the driver, Antonio Dipaola, on warrants from both Derby and Wichita. The vehicle was released to the driver's girlfriend.

May 9 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring responded with Valley Center police and Sedgwick County sheriff to a reported burglary in-progress in the 6500 block of North Upchurch Court. The reporting party found her front door open, her television turned on and a light not working in the basement. She also thought she heard someone in the basement. Officers checked the home and found no sign of anyone else being inside. The light appeared to be burned out.  

May 9 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officers Duane Schrag and Levi Herring located four juveniles in the park, 6801 N. Hydraulic, after hours. They found illegal narcotics and tobacco products in their car and released the juveniles to their parents.

May 9 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle in the 6900 block of North I-135. The driver admitted to being in possession of marijuana. Officers served the driver with a Uniform Criminal Complaint and released him.

May 9 — Sgt. Trent Johnson cleared a tag from NCIC. Wichita police found the tag on its assigned vehicle when they were on a call. Apparently the company did not inform us they had found the tag and returned it to the original bus.  

May 8 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored the school zone in the 1200 block of East 61st North. He issued one speeding citation.

May 8 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted traffic control in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 8 — Officer Dustin Belton checked a vehicle parked in the 5400 block of North Mill Heights Drive. Everything appeared to be OK.

May 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Brandon Green responded to an assault in the 1300 block of East Frontenac. The victims reported being battered by a known juvenile suspect on their property following a dispute with their daughter.

May 8 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to an assault in the 6300 block of North Wendell. The victim reported a known suspect came into his home and used pepper spray in his face. The suspect was served with a Uniform Criminal Complaint and released.

May 8 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to a report of people fishing at the High Ridge Pond in the 6800 block of North Wendell. He checked the area and determined the fisherman had left prior to his arrival.

May 8 — Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted a citizen in the 900 block of East 53rd North. Officer provided him a ride to the Quality Inn because of his level of intoxication.

May 8 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Levi Herring responded to a disturbance at the Presto, 6115 N. Air Cap Drive. An employee reported an unknown male being loud and agitating and then leaving. Officer told the subject to stay out of the business until he sobered up. The subject went to his hotel room without any further incident.

May 7 — Lt. Hobert Capps took a report of three dogs charging the reporting party in the 6300 block of Scottsville. The dogs belong to a known suspect and are not licensed in Park City. Officer forwarded the information to Code Enforcement.

May 7 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted traffic control in the 6000 block of North Independence and in the 1200 block of East 61st North.

May 7 — Officer Dustin Belton checked an abandoned vehicle in the 6400 block of North Chisholm Pointe. He tagged the vehicle with a 48-hour tow sticker.

May 7 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to a dog at-large in the 1500 block of East 61st North. He was unable to locate the dog's owner. Animal control was contacted and took custody of the dog.

May 7 — Officer Dustin Belton and Lt. Hobert Capps assisted EMS with a man down in the 1700 block of East Gary. They contacted a subject who said he was staying in the backyard until the homeowner got home from work.

May 7 — Officer Brandon Green monitored traffic at the school, 6015 E. Independence. Everything was OK.

May 7 — Officer Brandon Green was asked to check for children playing unattended in the street in the 1300 block of East Evanston. He did not see any children in the street.

May 7 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officers Brandon Green, Christopher Shield and Austin Barrett and Valley Center police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 900 block of East 53rd North. The vehicle did not stop for approximately 1/2 mile after the initial stop began. The driver refused to exit the vehicle during the traffic investigation and was removed from the vehicle. The driver was cited for a defective headlight and failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and was released.

May 7 — Officers Christopher Shields and Austin Barrett responded to assist Sedgwick County fire with a semitrailer on fire at 6115 N. Air Cap Drive. The fire was out when officers arrived.

May 7 — Sgt. Trent Johnson assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in the 1300 block of East Beaumont by contacting the owner of a vehicle the deputy had stopped. Officer advised the subject to get her vehicle in Wichita.

May 7 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Trent Johnson stopped a vehicle for traffic violations in the 6200 block of North Jacksonville. Two suspects from Moore, Okla., were found to be in possession of THC wax and pills. Both were issued Uniform Criminal Complaints and released.

May 6 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff responded to the 2300 block of East Charleston to assist Sedgwick County fire with a boy locked in a car. Firefighters were able to unlock the car and get the boy out without any issues.

May 6 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff monitored traffic in the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 6 — Officer Chuck Trimmell counseled a juvenile at the station about his behavior, at the request of his legal guardians.

May 6 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted traffic enforcement in the school zone in the 1200 block of East 61st North.

May 6 — Officers Dustin Belton, Richard Wolff and Andrew Corlis responded to vandalism in the 1500 block of East Evanston. The victim reported coming home and finding that someone had destroyed her personal property in the residence.

May 6 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff took an assault report from the 1500 block of East Evanston. The victim reported that her boyfriend came to this location April 15 and became physically violent after they argued about him taking her phone. Officer forwarded the case to investigations.

May 6 — Officer Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a hold-up alarm in the 900 block of Connolly Court. They determined the alarm was false.

May 6 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 1900 block of East Cedar Tree where a citizen had questions about her custody agreement and what she could do about her ex-husband taking their child out of school in Valley Center.

May 6 — Sgt. Keith Goodall spoke with a citizen at the station. The subject said his soon to be ex-wife refused to bring their daughter to him at a business in Valley Center for his visitation. Officer determined there was no court paperwork in place for custody.

May 6 — Officer Brandon Green monitored the school zone at 6015 N. Independence.

May 6 — Sgt. Keith Goodall was dispatched to a disturbance at 928 E. 61st North. The calling party said an unknown person tried to sabotage his car because he made it to the air pump first. The calling party decided he did not need an officer to come out for a report and cancelled the call.

May 6 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a general business alarm in the 5700 block of North Broadway. He determined the alarm went off because of a nearby lightning strike.

May 6 — Officer Duane Schrag removed a sign that had blown onto the road in the 6100 block of North I-135.

May 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted a stranded motorist in jump-starting his truck at 928 E. 61st North.

May 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored traffic in the school zone in the 6100 block of North Independence. No violations were seen.

May 5 — Officers Andrew Corlis and Richard Wolff monitored traffic in the school zone in the 1100 block of East 61st North. One violator was cited.

May 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report from 6015 N. Independence. The reporting party said he was verbally harassed for no reason by a suspect as he left his residence this morning. The suspect told the officer he found motor oil in one of the cut-off fence posts in the backyard and thought the reporting party was responsible. The argument was verbal only and with no witnesses.

May 5 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted traffic enforcement in the school zone in the 1200 block of East 61st North.

May 5 — Officer Dustin Belton conducted a business check at the Senior Center, 6100 N. Hydraulic. Everything was OK.

May 5 — Officer Dustin Belton assisted a motorist with a broken trailer in the 1100 block of East 53rd North. A tow service was called to help get the motorist home.

May 5 — Officer Dustin Belton stickered an abandoned vehicle in the 6400 block of North West Parkview.

May 5 — Officers Andrew Corliss, Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz were dispatched to assist EMS in the 1400 block of East Frontenac. They were disregarded upon arrival.

May 5 — Officer Brandon Green took a burglary report from 501 E. 63rd North. Someone entered the home and removed all items from it.

May 5 — Sgt. Keith Goodall monitored the school zone at 6015 N. Independence. No violations were observed.

May 5 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report of a verbal altercation involving the suspect's child climbing on a wall in front of a business in the 1500 block of East 61st North.

May 5 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Brandon Green took report of an out-of control 10-year-old at 501 E. 63rd North. The juvenile agreed to go to Comcare with his mother.

May 5 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall stopped a vehicle in the 1100 block of East Denver for not displaying a licenses plate. They discovered the driver was driving with a suspended license, had no insurance, an expired registration, was transporting an open container, and was in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia. They issued the driver a Uniform Criminal Complaint.

May 4 — Officer Edwyn Diaz monitored traffic in a school zone in the 1200 block of East 61st North. No violations were seen.

May 4 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted a citizen at the station. The subject demanded copies of past reports and a case number on a recent report, which the officer provided.

May 4 — Officers Dustin Belton, Edwyn Diaz and Andrew Corlis were dispatched to a disturbance at 53rd North and I-135. They were unable to locate the suspect vehicle. KHP later advised the vehicle had been located at the turnpike station down south.

May 4 — Officers Dustin Belton and Andrew Corlis conducted traffic control for the school in the 6000 block of North Independence.

May 4 — Officers Dustin Belton and Andrew Corlis checked on an abandoned vehicle in the 6400 block of North West Parkview. They could not contact the owner and will check to see if the vehicle is moved later.

May 4 — Officers Dustin Belton and Andrew Corlis were dispatched to a traffic hazard at 53rd North and Hydraulic. They were disregarded prior to arrival.

May 4 — Officer Christopher Shields took a report from a Parks Department employee that a pole bordering the small parking lot east of the T-ball field at the park had been destroyed over the weekend.

May 4 — Officer Christopher Shields monitored traffic in and around the school zone at 6015 N. Independence.

May 4 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a disturbance in the 1900 block of East Cedar Tree Court. A 15-year-old said he had an argument with his grandfather and uncle.

May 4 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 6600 block of North Randall. A citizen reported an unknown male left the garage at this location, put on a backpack, walked out the gate and headed south on Randall. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate anyone matching the description.

May 4 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a traffic issue in the 1000 block of East Evanston. A vehicle was parked on the street in such a manner that it was difficult for other vehicles to get around it. Officer contacted the owner of the vehicle who agreed to move it.

May 4 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a suspicious person in the 6000 block of North Hydraulic. The calling party was running on Hydraulic when a resident at this address came out of the house and fired some type of pellet or BB gun into the trees. Officers were unable to locate the house due to bad information.

May 4 — Officer Christopher Shields called the reporting party from the previous suspicious person call who said the officers drove by the house but didn't stop at the residence. Officer told the calling party about the bad information. The calling party was able to give the actual address and the officer contacted the homeowner. He had just bought a new paintball gun and did not realize he could not shoot it in the city.
