Police reports

May 10 — Officers Jason Easley and Jeremy Manning responded to a vehicle accident at 800 Willow Creek Drive. 

May 10 — Officers Jason Easley and Jeremy Manning assisted EMS at 110 N. Colby.

May 9 — Officer Shannon Meyer assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 85th North and Hoover with possible dumping. The calling party believed a truck he had never seen was looking for a place to dump tree limbs. Officers contacted the truck driver and found he was not looking for a place to dump; he was going to a friend's house to put them in his limb pile.

May 9 — Officer Shannon Meyer responded to a general alarm at 8129 N. Broadway but was disregarded before arrival.

May 9 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Eric Leeker responded to 130 S. Abilene. An individual found money at the car wash. The money was collected.

May 9 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Eric Leeker responded to 109th North and Meridian for a voicemail report of a spine in the water underneath the bridge on 109th North. Reporting party was unsure if it was a human or an animal spine. Officer Leeker checked and determined it was the spine of an animal.

May 9 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to Chaparral and 69th North to check a white Ford pick-up parked on the side of the road. The truck had a flat tire.

May 9 — Officer Matt Trelow assisted Park City police at 6535 N. Upchurch Court with a burglary in-progress. Officers cleared the residence, and no one was found inside.

May 9 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to 7000 N. Seneca to a downed sign that appeared to have been hit by a vehicle. The sign did not appear to have sustained much damage other than being bent. Sedgwick County sheriff was contacted to see the damage and will contact the county yard.

May 9 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to Buena Vista and 77th North to check a blue Dodge pick-up parked on the side of the road. The vehicle was unoccupied.

May 8 — Officer Shannon Meyer assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 9600 N. Meridian with a student not wanting to go home with his mom. Child was told to go home because court-ordered paperwork stated it was the mom's weekend to have the child.

May 8 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Eric Leeker assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a non-injury accident at 69th North and Meridian.

May 8 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Eric Leeker responded to assist Sedgwick County sheriff with an injury accident at 125th North and Broadway. They were unable to find the accident.

May 8 — Officers Eric Leeker and Matt Trelow did a club check at 231 E. Main. A highly intoxicated individual was found in the parking lot. The man assured officers that he had a designated driver and stayed there until the designated driver came out.

May 7 — Officer Shannon Meyer took a report at the station. A woman said she and her sister had rented a storage locker together at 314 W. Main, but the sister was keeping her belongings from her.

May 7 — Officer Shannon Meyer responded to 845 N. Redbud and 847 N. Redbud. The front doors of both residences had been kicked in and construction items stolen from both locations.

May 7 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Eric Leeker assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 213 S. Raymond, Bentley, for a disturbance involving a bicycle. When officers arrived, they determined there was no disturbance over a bicycle. The call involved a known individual throwing a knife repeatedly at someone's mobile home. The suspect had left prior to our arrival.

May 7 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Eric Leeker responded to 700 McLaughlin Drive for children swimming in the pond. Officers found the kids and called their parents to pick them up. They explained to the kids and their parents that it is illegal to swim in the pond.

May 7 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to 101 W. Industrial. While checking the bank, he found an open door on the west side of the building. Park City police assisted in clearing the building and no one was inside. A key holder arrived and locked the door. Officer did not find any damage or evidence of anyone inside the building. Custodial staff was there earlier in the night. The other two banks were secure.

May 6 — Officer Shannon Meyer responded to 344 S. Meridian for a hold-up alarm. It was false.

May 6 — Officer Shannon Meyer responded to 110 E. Fifth for a report of fraud. Someone had been using this man's Social Security number and filing taxes for three years.

May 6 — Officers Michael Gordon, Erik Nygaard, Eric Leeker and Jeremy Manning responded to a hold-up alarm at 344 S. Meridian. It was false.

May 6 — Officers Michael Gordon, Erik Nygaard, Eric Leeker and Jeremy Manning responded to 6729 N. Interurban to check for a wanted person possibly at this address. He was not located.

May 6 — Officers Michael Gordon, Erik Nygaard, Eric Leeker and Jeremy Manning responded to 8639 N. 63rd East checked for a wanted person at this address. No contact was made.

May 6 — Officer Michael Gordon stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 800 block of South Abilene. He arrested a passenger, Manuel Lee Trotter, on a Wichita warrant.

May 5 — Officer Michael Gordon responded to a warrant arrest at 522 W. Second. He arrested Brittany Nicole Cooper on a Valley Center warrant.

May 5 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted Park City police at 2323 E. Charleston in Park City with a child locked in a vehicle.

May 4 — Officer Michael Gordon took the report of vandalism at 751 W. Fifth. Individuals had spray-painted graffiti on city property. He notified the city crew.

May 4 — Officer Michael Gordon responded to a report of vandalism at 501 N. Sheridan. Individuals had spray-painted graffiti on school property.

May 4 — Officer Michael Gordon responded Meeds and Albert for a report of vandalism. Someone had spray-painted graffiti on city streets. A report was made. and city crew was notified.

May 4 — Officer Michael Gordon responded to First and Meridian for a vehicle violating traffic laws. He checked the area.

May 4 — Officer Michael Gordon responded to 121 S. Meridian for an accident. A vehicle had backed into another vehicle in the City Hall parking lot.

May 4 — Officers Jason Easley and Erik Nygaard responded to a bicycle found in the alley behind 416 Park.

May 4 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted Park City police with a suspicious person call at 69th North and Broadway. They did not locate the person, but found a semitrailer that was related.

May 4 — Officer J.C. Kirk responded to 1211 S. Sheridan for a domestic violence report that occurred in Wichita. The case was transferred to Wichita police.

May 9 — 1040 N. Meadow, assist EMS.

May 8 — 69th North and Meridian, assist police.

May 8 — 125th North and Broadway, injury accident.

May 7 — 3500 W. 77th North, burn permit.

May 7 — 3900 W. Palos Verdes, burn permit.

May 7 — 460 N. Emporia, No. 113, assist EMS.

May 6 — 620 W. Fifth, check fire out.

May 6 — 431 W. Ness, permit.

May 6 — 416 W. Third, assist EMS.

May 6 — 616 E. Fifth, storm spotting.

May 5 — 800 N. Meridian, assist EMS.
