Preheim named Valley Center girls basketball coach By Randy Fisher Last Updated: April 30, 2015 Trent Preheim, a longtime teacher and coach in the Valley Center school district, has been named as the new girls basketball coach for Valley Center High School, according to athletic director Ron Barry. "Coach Preheim has had 20 years of service teaching and coaching in the district," Barry said. "Over the years, he has coached a variety of sports at the middle school and high school level. He definitely has experience coaching girls and he's proven that he's loyal to the district." Preheim had been the boys basketball varsity assistant the last four years. Prior to that, he was a girls assistant coach for 10 years. |
