Police reports

April 19 — Sgt. Matt Vogt and Officers Jason Easley, Erik Nygaard and Jeremy Manning responded to 6900 N. Interurban. They spoke with a teen who was trespassing on the railroad tracks.

April 19 — Sgt. Matt Vogt and Officers Jason Easley, Erik Nygaard and Jeremy Manning responded to Clay and Dexter for a possible stolen vehicle. When investigated, the vehicle was not stolen and the owner was with the vehicle. Calling party didn't want to be contacted.

April 19 — Sgt. Matt Vogt and Officers Jason Easley, Erik Nygaard and Jeremy Manning responded to 9300 N. Seneca for a stop sign blown down by the wind. A supervisor was notified.

Apr 19 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 81st North and Hoover with checking a disturbance. He did not locate any disturbance.

April 18— Officer Matt Trelow responded to 6221 N. Broadway for a 911 hang-up call. Contact was made and everything was fine.

April 18 — Officer Eric Leeker assisted Sedgwick County sheriff at 97th North and 39th West with suspicious characters shooting guns under the bridge. The individuals were told that was illegal and where they could legally shoot guns.

April 18 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to 300 Fieldstone for a 4-year-old boy found wandering down the street. The officer was able to find out where he belonged.

April 18 — Officers Matt Trelow and Eric Leeker responded to a suspicious character at 210 N. Meridian. They checked the area where the calling party reported some kids were on the porch. Officers were unable to locate the kids.

April 18 —Officers Matt Trelow and Eric Leeker responded to 85th West and 119th North for shots fired. We were unable to locate anyone shooting weapons.

April 18 — Officer Michael Gordon provided traffic control at Main and Ash because the railroad signals malfunctioned. He remained until the railroad's signal maintainer arrived.

April 18 — Officer Michael Gordon responded to an alarm at 1602 W. 61st North but was disregarded before arrival.

April 18 — Officer Michael Gordon responded to an alarm at 9401 N. Broadway but was disregarded before arrival.

April 17 — Officer Matt Trelow responded to a non-injury accident at Ford and Ramsey. A semitrailer tried to get around the construction at Main and Meridian and tried to turn west onto Ford. The truck turned too sharp and the trailer went into the culvert, knocking down street signs.

April 17 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to 3801 W. Rio Grande for a general alarm. The homeowner set it off and didn't know how to turn it off.

April 17 — Officer Eric Leeker assisted Kansas Highway Patrol at 77th North and I-135 with a traffic stop. The trooper had two suspects at gunpoint and needed assistance.

April 17 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to 950 E. Connolly Court, Park City, for a holdup alarm at Taco Bell. The business was checked and everything is fine. The button was set off by an employee.

April 17 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to a drunken individual creating a disturbance at 231 E. Main. The man was escorted from the business. Officers stood-by until a cab came to take him home because he refused a ride from officers.

April 17 — Officer Eric Leeker responded to 660 W. Scott where an egg was thrown at the house. The homeowner did not wish to make a report unless there were other houses egged. At this time, there had been no other eggings reported.

April 15 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado assisted the Sedgwick County sheriff in locating an individual walking along the 6600 block of West 85th North, making the local residents nervous. The suspect was walking to Wichita after being kicked out of his home. He was later transported to K-96 and Ridge Road.

April 15 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Eric Leeker assisted the Sedgwick County sheriff at 9700 N. West by trying to locate the driver of an overturned vehicle. The driver was contacted by phone and said the vehicle had been stolen, but would not return to make a report.

April 15 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Eric Leeker assisted the Sedgwick County sheriff at 6500 N. Meridian with the recovery of a silver 2006 Saturn Vue. They followed up on information that led them to the residence of a possible suspect in Valley Center. They contacted the suspect who denied knowing anything about the vehicle, but quickly changed his story when pressured. His statement was taken and he was released on the scene. The sheriff was contacted and sent to 888 S. Hydraulic to recover vehicle.

April 14 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Jason Easley responded to 200 N. Colby for a brown dog found with an injured leg. The dog was taken to an animal clinic in Valley Center for treatment.

April 14 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Jason Easley responded to the 700 block of East Valley Park Drive. A person reported seeing a child riding a mower with a female while cutting the grass. Officers spoke with the female, who had a harness on the child while cutting her grass. She gave the child to a family member and finished cutting the grass.

April 14 — Sgt. Thomas Delgado and Officer Jason Easley responded to 100 E. Ford for a non-injury accident. The reporting party stated an individual drove off into a hole and he believed he was intoxicated. Delgado initially could not locate the accident because the vehicle was in a very deep hole and only see a small portion of the roof could be seen from the street. He checked the individual who was not intoxicated, but explained he "turned too soon." Avery's pulled the vehicle out of the hole, and it was released to the owner.

April 13 — Officers Michael Gordon and Erik Nygaard responded to a check for a wanted person at 501 E. 63rd North in Park City. Officers were unable to locate.

April 13 — Officers Michael Gordon and Erik Nygaard responded to 125 N. Ash and arrested Quentin Michael Saner on a Valley Center warrant.

April 13 — Officers Michael Gordon and Erik Nygaard responded to the station for a larceny report. The reporting party reported the theft of a wedding ring.

April 13 — Sgts. Lloyd Newman and Matt Vogt and Officer Allen Adams responded to a welfare check at 629 Deerfield. The residents had been involved in a domestic violence situation the night before, and a friend was concerned about them.

April 13 — Officer Jason Easley responded to the station for a miscellaneous report of a person receiving text messages from an unknown number and wanted to make a report.

April 13 — Officer Jason Easley responded to 1341 S. Meridian, No. 2, where a person reported he believed his roommate had the key for the lug nuts to his vehicle because the package was open and the key was missing. The male did not see his ex-roommate take the key.

April 13 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with locating a vehicle at I-135 and 85th North but was unable to locate.

April 13 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted Park City police with a traffic stop at 5500 N. I-135.

April 13 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted Park City police with a traffic stop at 6500 N. I-135.
