April 3 — Valley Center Officer Eric Leeker responded to an animal call at Allen and Colby after an individual found a dead cat and placed it on the curb. It was not a traffic hazard and was not a police matter.

April 2 — Valley Center Officer Eric Leeker responded to Third and Hickory for a parking violation. The left-hand wheels were parked on the left-hand curb on a two-way road more than 12 inches from the curb. The owner was told how to park legally.

April 1 — Park City Officer Dale Coffman checked a business in the 6000 block of North Hattan Drive after finding lights on and the gate open. Salesmen were still inside making deals.

March 30 — Valley Center Officer Jason Easley responded to 9133 N. Seneca where a homeowner advised a tent was on the back part of his property. The house is in Valley Center, but the tent is in the county. The tent was empty but did have corn inside. It's believed the tent is for hunting.
