The City of Valley Center issued 19 building and roofing permits during March for a total valuation of $551,199. Of that number, eight were for new residences, duplexes in the Ridgefield subdivision north of Fifth and east of Kessler.

Interurban, storage structure, $20,000; •March 25, 122 N. Colby, roofing, $5,700; •March 30, 940 N. Redbud Court, new residence, $55,000; •March 30, 936 N.
