SHIRLEY FARMER

Shirley Jean Farmer, 79, of Bel Aire, died March 13, 2015. She was a homemaker.

She was born Sept. 23, 1935, in Boxley, Ark., the daughter of Walter and Ava Levoy (Edgmond) Fowler.

She was preceded in death by her parents,  husband Garry Lee Farmer and son Rodger Farmer. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law Richard and Sue Ellen Farmer of Bel Aire and Jackie Farmer of Wichita; grandchildren Matt Farmer and wife Kris, Stacia Farmer, Melissa Farmer, Tara Farmer and Dylan Forrester; great-grandchildren, Zoe Forrester, Kaylie Bidwell, Keri Farmer, Mason Chappell, Talon Farmer and Atlin Farmer; and many dear friends.

Service was March 19 at Boxley Baptist Church in Poncha, Ark., with internment in Beechwood Cemetery.
