Call 755-0821. … On March 13, Valley Center police officers responded to a disturbance at Pizza Hut, 344 S. Meridian, after the business received multiple phone calls from an angry customer. Officer Eric Leeker spoke to the man on the phone and explained that the delivery driver did not deliver the pizza because the area was dark and he could not find the house. The officer further explained that Pizza Hut is a private company and can choose not to deliver to someone. The man did not purchase the pizza. ... Greater Peoria Properties LLC of Morton, Ill., is preparing land north of 61st North and west of Broadway in Park City to store vehicles for auction, the city said. The company bought 45 acres from the city in September. The property is in a floodplain, so earthmoving equipment is being used to raise the ground level about two feet and make it useable. A conditional use permit will require privacy fencing at least six feet tall, driving aisles made of concrete or hot mix asphalt, and storage areas made of asphalt or dust-free rock. The company said last summer that it has a master environmental insurance policy that requires it to conform with environmental regulations. |
