Feb. 28 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with an injury accident on private property in the 8100 block of North Hartman Arena Drive.

Feb. 28 — Officers Brandon Green and Levi Herring checked the welfare of a shoeless woman in the 1700 block of East 61st North. She was taken home.

Feb. 28 — Offices Levi Herring and Brandon Green responded to a disturbance at 4616 N. Hydraulic. The argument was verbal only.

Feb. 28 — Officers Christopher Shield and Duane Schrag responded to a loud party at 4616 N. Hydraulic. They located the party and told the participants to keep it down.

Feb. 28 — Sgt. Keith Johnson and Officer Christopher Shields responded to a general alarm in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The alarm was false.

Feb. 27 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a larceny in the 900 block of East 53rd North. The victim reported leaving several items in the hotel room when she left, and hotel management advised her they did not find her items. Officer checked with hotel management and was told they did not have the missing items.

Feb. 27 — Lt. Hobert Capps provided traffic control in front of Chisholm Trail Elementary School in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Feb. 27 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report of a private property non-injury accident at 1601 E. 77th North.

Feb. 27 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report of a suspicious vehicle in the 8800 block of North Saddlebrook. A citizen reported seeing a vehicle with no front bumper or grill driving around the area at 7:50 a.m. and then quickly leaving and going to the Hartman Arena area. The citizen could not provide a tag number for the vehicle.

Feb. 27 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report of an unexplained $100 charge on the victim's bank account after she checked out of a hotel Jan.13 in the 900 block of East 53rd North.

Feb. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Division of Children and Families at the station with a possible fraud case. They determined the possible fraud was taking place in Wichita and all information was forwarded to Wichita Police Department.

Feb. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to East 77th North and North I-135 for a report of a stalled vehicle parked on the shoulder with the hood up and its flashes on. Upon arrival, the officer saw an unoccupied vehicle with its hood down, no flashers and a flat tire. KHP had stickered the vehicle Feb. 26. There were no wants or warrants on the vehicle. It was not a traffic hazard.

Feb. 27 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted a citizen at 928 E. 61st North by providing a jump start for their vehicle.

Feb. 27 — Officers Brandon Green and Levi Herring provided traffic enforcement in the school zone at 6015 N. Independence.

Feb. 27 — Officer Brandon Green assisted a motorist whose vehicle was inoperable in a parking lot at 928 E. 61st North.

Feb. 27 — Officer Brandon Green assisted Wichita police with a traffic pursuit by deploying spike strips in the 7700 block of North Hydraulic. The vehicle became inoperable and stopped next to the pavilions.

Feb. 27 — Officer Levi herring responded to a non-injury accident in the 6100 block of North Broadway

Feb. 27 — Officer Christopher Shields stopped an individual walking north in the 4500 block of North Broadway. The individual was given a ride home because it was so cold outside.

Feb. 27 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted EMS with an elderly man who had fallen out of bed in the 6300 block of North Jacksonville. The patient refused transport.

Feb. 27 — Officer Dustin Belton issued a parking citation in the 6300 block of North East Parkview.

Feb. 27 — Officer Dustin Belton cleared a warrant for John Lonard Halverson, who had been arrested by Newton police.

Feb. 26 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to disorderly conduct at 8100 N. Hartman Arena Drive. The victim reported receiving numerous emails with strong negative language. The victim did not wish to pursue charges at this time.

Feb. 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps monitored traffic in a school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence Drive.

Feb. 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 8900 block of North I-135 southbound for a vehicle that reportedly ran the calling party off the road and failed to maintain lanes. The officer was unable to locate the vehicle, last seen exiting onto southbound I-235. KHP was notified.

Feb. 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a residence in the 6400 block of North Scottsville. The reporting party said the front door of the vacant residence was wide open. The residence was checked and everything appeared to be OK.

Feb. 26 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell stopped a vehicle at Hydraulic and Ventnor that was possibly involved in a disturbance call in Valley Center. They determined it was not the suspect vehicle.

Feb. 26 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked two parking violations in the area of the 900 block of East Connolly Court. Both vehicles were moved.

Feb. 26 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a vehicle parked in the ditch in the 5300 block of North Hydraulic. The driver was lost and had pulled over to park. She was waiting for her father-in-law to come and lead her to her destination.

Feb. 26 — Officer Levi Herring stopped a vehicle for an illegal window tint in the 5800 block of North Judson Drive. The driver was given a uniform criminal complaint for possession of drug paraphernalia and marijuana.

Feb. 26 — Officers Brandon Green and Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall conducted traffic enforcement in the school zones near 61st North and Independence.

Feb. 26 — Officers Austin Barrett and Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 6200 block of North Broadway. A person reported that another person accused her of stealing a charger from the store. No theft actually occurred.

Feb. 26 — Sgt. Trent Johnson responded to 501 E. 63rd North. The reporting party saw a person standing on her neighbor's back steps. She then saw the same person leave from her front porch and walk around the front of the house, then back to the dike and then southbound.

Feb. 26 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted EMS with a person who had fainted in the 4700 block of North Canterbury Court. EMS transported the patient to St. Francis.  

Feb. 26 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Christopher Shields responded to 501 E. 63rd North. A man and a woman reported someone possibly entered their home and moved things around in their room. Both victims said nothing was missing. Officers took photos.

Feb. 26 — Officer Dustin Belton assisted a stranded motorist at 6075 N. Air Cap Drive.

Feb. 25 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Lt. Hobert Capps assisted Bel Aire police with a burglary in-progress call in the 4900 block of North Indian Oak. Four suspects were stopped and identified in connection with the call.

Feb. 25 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Lt. Hobert Capps monitored traffic in the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Feb. 25 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Valley Center police by checking the welfare of a citizen in the 1200 block of West 63rd North. They determined EMS transported the person to the hospital the night before.

Feb. 25 — Officer Chuck Trimmell received a wallet that an unknown citizen had found in the 4300 block of East 45th North. The owner of the wallet was located and the wallet returned.

Feb. 25 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to vandalism in the 1600 block of East Village Estates. Someone had torn the "Village Estates HOA Community" sign off a concrete wall.

Feb. 25 — Lt. Hobert Capps assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by trying to locate a witness to an aggravated assault at 501 E. 63rd North. The subject was not home.

Feb. 25 — Officer Brandon Green was asked to speak with a citizen's 13-year-old daughter in the 6200 block of North Hydraulic about the possible consequences of certain actions. The juvenile was briefed, and it seemed to make an impact.

Feb. 25 — Officer Brandon Green stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1100 block of East 61st North. He arrested the driver, Veronica Adams, on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

Feb. 25 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Brandon Green monitored traffic in the area of the school at 6015 N. Independence during dismissal.

Feb. 25 — Officers Duane Schrag and Christopher Shields spoke with people in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck and told them to contact a family member in another state.

Feb. 24 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Richard Wolff monitored traffic and issued citations to violators in the school zone in the 6000 block of North Independence.

Feb. 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a business in the 5700 block of North Chuzy Drive. A manager advised officer that a neighboring business had told them a small, white vehicle circled their business between 2:40 and 2:47 a.m. and dropped off an unknown person close to their business. Nothing was missing from the reporting party's business. They did not wish to file a report; just wanted police to be aware of the situation.

Feb. 24 — Officer Richard Wolff took a report of someone possibly gaining access to the reporting party's computer and moving, installing and changing files.

Feb. 24 — Officer Richard Wolff was dispatched to the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive to look for a runaway for Newton police. While en route, it was determined that the subject's phone was being pinged and the runaway was in an unknown vehicle heading south on I-135. Officer was unable to locate the individual.

Feb. 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted EMS in the 6500 block of North Ulysses.

Feb. 24 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to vandalism at 8151 N. Hartman Arena Drive. Someone had vandalized a "No Parking Fire Lane" sign. Damage estimated at $50.

Feb. 24 — Officer Richard Wolff took a report from the 6300 block of North West Parkview. The victim reported that someone had returned his bank account statement to the bank after allegedly opening his mail by accident.

Feb. 24 — Officers Brandon Green and Aaron Meadows and Sgt. Keith Goodall conducted traffic enforcement in the school zone at dismissal at 6015 N. Independence. Multiple violators were verbally counseled.

Feb. 24 — Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report of a private property accident at 6350 N. Broadway.

Feb. 24 — Officers Brandon Green and Aaron Meadows responded to 4616 N. Hydraulic for a stand-by to prevent. They waited but no one showed.

Feb. 24 — Officers Dustin Belton and Duane Schrag responded to a burglary in-progress at 501 E 63rd North. The calling party reported seeing a previous suspicious person in the area standing at their back door.

Feb. 24 — Officer Duane Schrag confirmed a warrant for Victor M. Chavez-Vargas to the Sedgwick County jail.

Feb. 24 — Officer Dustin Belton was dispatched to check for a ladder in the road in the 6900 block of North I-135. KHP had removed the ladder prior to the officer's arrival.

Feb. 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell counseled a parent in the 6000 block of North Independence about leaving her children in the vehicle while she dropped off another child inside the school.

Feb. 23 — Offices Chuck Trimmell, Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps monitored traffic in the school zone at 6015 N. Independence. Vehicles were stopped, and verbal warnings given.

Feb. 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was given a message at the station to call a citizen about possibly retrieving her guns.

Feb. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to aggravated assault in the 100 block of West 61st North. The victim reported that a known suspect pulled out a metal pipe and threatened him with the pipe after a verbal altercation. The victim did not wish to press charges.

Feb. 23 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall contacted a citizen in the 1300 block of East Evanston about a case that Valley Center police was working.

Feb. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a general alarm in the 8400 block of North Broadway. The alarm was deemed false.

Feb. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Levi Herring responded to the 1700 block of East Gary. A woman wanted her boyfriend, who occasionally stays with her, to leave because of his drinking. The man agreed to leave and was taken to the rescue mission.

Feb. 23 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall worked the school zone at 6015 N. Independence and observed traffic at this location.

Feb. 23 — Officer Levi Herring checked on an inoperable vehicle in the 6900 block of southbound I-135. The vehicle had run out of gas, and left as the officer pulled up to the scene.

Feb. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall found the front gates of a business open at 919 E. 53rd North. Everything appeared secure.

Feb. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted a motorist whose vehicle had stopped running in the 300 block of East 53rd North. He was able to get the vehicle going and the motorist went on his way.

Feb. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Levi Herring responded to an unknown call in the 6700 block of North Tarrytown. The resident said her dog had something cornered in the yard and it was barking. Officers saw a cat fleeing the yard as they arrived. Nothing else was found.

Feb. 23 — Officer Duane Schrag was asked to call the Marion County Sheriff's Office regarding a runaway that might have been in Park City. By the time the officer returned the call, the sheriff's office had determined the runaway probably was not in Park City.

Feb. 23 — Officers Dustin Belton and Duane Schrag responded to a suspicious person in a vehicle parked on the side of the road with its hazard flashers on at 77th North and Hydraulic. An officer stayed on the scene with the stranded motorist until a tow truck arrived.
