Burney WilBlard Legan, 84, of Wichita, died Feb. 26, 2015. He was a retired truck driver and dock worker with Graves Truckline.

He was born in Clearwater where he lived until the 1940s. His family moved to Wichita and lived there until the 1970s, when he moved to the Valley Center area. He entered the U.S. Army Feb. 1, 1952, and served in the Korean War. He worked at Mid Central Fish until 1965, then Graves Truckline as a truck driver and dock worker until he retired in 1988. He then worked for Grattan Farms.

He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Marie Z. and Don N. Martin; brother Wesley Dean Roberts; and grandparents William J. and Mary J. Roberts. Survivors include friends Bill and Judy Grattan, and Milton Quiring.

Private services will be held. Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center has charge.
