OREN HAAS Last Updated: February 27, 2015 Oren "Big O" Lloyd Haas, 81, retired Beech Aircraft sheet metal assembler, died Feb. 24, 2015. He was born in Ramona to Harry Henry Haas and Juanita Francis (Rindt) Haas and graduated from Ramona High School. He married Shirley L. Bullock Aug., 1955. Known as "Big O," he lived across from 81 Speedway where he won seven track championships and was a member of the 81 Speedway Hall of Fame. He was preceded in death by his wife, sister Janice Engel and parents. Survivors include his children Luann (Bill) Banning of Derby, Denise (Larry) Tullos of Derby and Gary (Karen) Haas of Valley Center; grandchildren Jeremy (Sandy) Massey, Brandon Massey, Nicholas Tullos, Bailee Tullos and Brianna Haas; brother-in-law Robert Bullock of Derby; and many other family and friends. Service is at 11 a.m. March 2 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, with viewing before. Graveside following at Sunnydale Park Cemetery, 10357 N. Hydraulic, Valley Center.
