 Evan Pierce Student from Kechi to play in Shrine Bowl By The News staff Last Updated: February 12, 2015 Evan Pierce, a senior at Maize South High School, was selected to play in the Kansas Shrine Bowl in July. Pierce lives in Kechi. Pierce was one of 68 high school football players chosen by a mail ballot of sports media professionals and the 2015 Kansas Shrine Bowl coaching staff. The charity all-star game will be July 25 at Fort Hays State University in Hays. Pierce signed a letter of intent last week to play for Butler Community College. Pierce is the son of Cary and Catherine Pierce. Catherine is a vocal music teacher in the Maize school district. |
