HELEN CUMMINGS Last Updated: January 29, 2015 Helen Jean (Conner) Cummings, 81, of Wichita, died Jan. 23, 2015. She was retired from Wesley Hospital and had also worked at Jack Smith's Shoe Repair in Wichita. She was born July 12, 1933, in Wichita to Raymond Chesterfield Conner and Anna Belle (Berry) Conner. She was preceded in death by her husband and best friend Ed, parents, sisters Maxine Raymor Evelyn Buckley and Margaret Sipult, and brothers Fred Conner, Chester Conner and an infant brother. Survivors include daughters, Susan (Harold) Palmer of Park City, Shirley (Gene) Parrish of Valley Center and Nancy Cummings of Wichita; grandchildren, Robert (Kim) Palmer, Chris Palmer, Chad Palmer, Shauna (Joe) White, Darla (Tim) Vaughn and Brandi Jenson; great-grandchildren, Kayla, Meghan, Jarrod, Serena and Gabbigale; and many other family and friends. Services will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 30 at Grace Church of the Nazarene, 1024 W. 53rd North, Wichita. Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center had charge. |
