Irene Cecelia (Thompson) Bennett Humphries, 77, of Wichita, died Jan. 11, 2015. She worked at the Fourth National Bank at McConnell Air Force Base and was retired from Key Bank in Utah.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Lawrence Thompson and Dorothy Ellen (Hill) Thompson. She graduated from West High School in Columbus.

She was preceded in death by her husband Michael William Humphries, mother Dorothy Loomis, brother Gene, sister Doris and daughter Michelle.

Survivors include her children, Susan (Oscar) Russell, Catherine (Steve) Kalocinski, Darrin (Kim) Bennett and Michael (Maria) Humphries; grandchildren, Amanda Abbas, Nicolas Russell, Ashley Kalocinski, Steven Kalocinski, Hunter Bennett, Casey Bennett and Ashley Rolston; great-grandchildren, Elissa and Jackson; and many other family and friends.

Service was Jan. 15 at Three Angels Seventh-day Adventist Church in Wichita. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harper Area Health Foundation, Harper Hospital District 5, c/o HAHF, 700 W. 13th, Harper, KS 67058. Baker Funeral Home of Valley Center had charge.
