Highlights Last Updated: January 22, 2015 The Valley Center Chess Team competed at North High on Jan. 17. The K-2 team included Brec Burgess, who placed 13th, and Corben Burgess, who placed eighth. The K-5 team included Dayton Bastow and Ross Hankins, who was 20th. The K-8 team included Camden Dore, who was ninth, and Jace Burgess, who placed 15th. The Maize Virtual Preparatory team included Clayton Garcia, who was 15th in K-2; Carter Garcia, sixth in K-5; and Cooper Watkins, second in K-8. ††† Wheatland Elementary Site Council/PTO will meet at 6:15 p.m. Jan. 27 in the library. |
