Jan. 11 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff assisted Harvey County sheriff and KHP in looking for a hit-and-run vehicle near 101st North and I-13. They did not locate the vehicle.

Jan. 11 — Officer Richard Wolff assisted Bel Aire police with a domestic violence disturbance in the 5800 block of East 47th North.

Jan. 11 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff looked for a person revving up his vehicle in front of a vacant residence in the 1600 block of East Lancaster Drive. The subject said he was moving out and was warming up his vehicle to load onto a trailer.

Jan. 11 — Officer Edwyn Diaz returned a call to Wellington police regarding stolen property from there found for sale on Craig's list. The suspects possibly live in Park City. The Wellington officer was advised to contact Det. Dwight Wilkes Monday morning for assistance.

Jan. 11 — Officer Dale Coffman responded to an injured dog call in the 400 block of East 61st North. The owner was located and is taking the dog to the vet.

Jan. 11 — Officer Dale Coffman took a lost cellphone report from the 5900 block of North Air Cap Drive. The reporting party lost the phone somewhere between home in Wichita and McDonald's.

Jan. 11 — Officer Dale Coffman took a report of a minor traffic accident in the 900 block of East 53rd North.

Jan. 11 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Levi Herring looked for a vehicle with its lights on in the 6700 block of North Wendell. They were unable to locate the vehicle.

Jan. 11 — Officer Levi Herring stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of East 53rd North for a traffic violation. He cited the driver for no insurance and a defective tag light. The vehicle was searched and a marijuana pipe was located. The pipe was submitted as found property.

Jan. 11 — Officer Levi Herring and Keith Goodall looked for a vehicle on the side of the road near 53rd North and Broadway. They did not locate the vehicle.  

Jan. 11 — Officers Christopher Shields and Duane Schrag responded to a home in the 1400 block of Prairie Hill where the resident reported hearing her garage door open. Officers checked the garage and everything appeared to be fine. They advised the woman on how to lock the garage to possibly prevent the garage door from opening when unwanted.

Jan. 10 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with horses in the road in the 4200 block of East 77th North. Sheriff's office contacted the owner.

Jan. 10 — Officers Brandon Green and Dale Coffman responded to disorderly conduct at 501 E. 63rd North. The victim reported being in a verbal altercation with her boyfriend, Brian Holden. Officers arrested Holden on a charge of domestic violence.

Jan. 10 — Officer Dale Coffman assisted EMS with a heart patient in the 1300 block of East Beaumont. The patient was transported to Wesley Medical Center.

Jan. 10 — Officer Levi Herring stopped a vehicle for having an illegal window tint in the 2100 block of East 61st North. He arrested the driver, Jeffery Meredith, on charges of suspended license, possession of a methamphetamine smoking pipe and an open bottle of alcohol. The vehicle was towed by North End Auto.

Jan. 10 — Officer Levi Herring responded to the 1600 block of East Gary for two dogs running loose in the area. He was unable to locate the dogs.

Jan. 10 — Officers Duane Schrag and Christopher Shields responded to a domestic violence call in the 5800 block of North Fairview. The reporting party was tired of her boyfriend disrespecting her and wanted officer to kick him out. Officers advised her of Kansas laws regarding eviction.

Jan. 10 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a general alarm in the 6100 block of North Broadway. The officer arrived and found the building secure before the alarm company called to cancel the alarm.

Jan. 10 — Officer Duane Schrag removed some plastic debris from the road in the 4600 block of North I-135.

Jan. 10 — Officer Christopher Shields picked up a sexual assault kit from Wesley Medical Center and submitted it as evidence.

Jan. 9 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to a report of a juvenile playing his car stereo too loud in the 6300 block of North West Parkview. The reporting party had asked the suspect to turn down the music, and he complied. The reporting party said this was not the first time this had occurred and wanted to file a complaint. The suspect was gone prior to the officers' arrival.

Jan. 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz was asked by a store manager in the 900 block of East 61st North to check a vehicle that had been parked on the property for more than a week. Officer found the vehicle was clean and no phone numbers were found.

Jan. 9 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell responded to the 1200 block of East Evanston to check on a child with a disconnected cellphone who said his dad had died and he was home alone. Officers found out the address did not exist. They knocked on several house in the area but did not locate the child.

Jan. 9 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell responded to a report of shots fired at Navajo Lakes, 501 E. 63rd North. They located hunters on the west side of Broadway near 63rd North.

Jan. 9 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell responded to a hold-up alarm at a business in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. Upon arrival they spoke with the manager who said one of her employees accidently hit the panic alarm behind the counter. The alarm was deemed false.

Jan. 9 — Officer Edwyn Diaz assisted Valley Center police with a house fire by blocking the street in the 400 block of North Hickory Lane.

Jan. 9 — Lt. Hobart Capps responded to an illegal parking complaint in the 1500 block of East 61st North. The owner was contacted and told the inoperable vehicle needed to be moved within 48 hours or it would be towed. An orange tow sticker was attached to the vehicle.

Jan. 9 — Officers Dale Coffman and Brandon Green responded to a dispute between landlord and tenant in the 6300 block of North East Parkview. They both were advised the dispute was a civil issue and they should deal with their attorneys.

Jan. 9 — Officer Dale Coffman looked for a reported reckless driver on I-135 northbound from 61st North. He did not locate the driver, and KHP and Harvey County sheriff were notified.

Jan. 9 — Officers Dale Coffman, Brandon Green and Levi Herring responded to a business alarm in the 5700 block of North Broadway. Employees were still at work, and the alarm was deemed false.

Jan. 9 — Officers Levi Herring and Brandon Green found four juveniles in the 6200 block of North I-135 playing on the ice in the ditch. The juveniles were turned over to their parents.  

Jan. 9 — Officers Levi Herring and Brandon Green stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 7000 block of North I-135. They searched the vehicle and found 4.3 grams of marijuana and a marijuana smoking pipe.

Jan. 9 — Officer Dustin Belton assisted Sedgwick County fire and EMS in the 1700 block of East Denver.

Jan. 8 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report from Wichita police regarding a pending child abuse case that occurred in Wichita. The case was being worked with DCF and EMCU to take other kids who live in Park City into custody. EMCU will notify Park City police regarding this situation in the future.

Jan. 8 —Officer Brandon Green received a cellphone that had been left in the City Hall courtroom.

Jan. 8 — Officer Dale Coffman responded to assist EMS in the 5100 block of North Primrose. EMS transported a 76-year-old patient to Wesley Medical Center.

Jan. 8 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a business alarm in the 100 block of West 61st North. The alarm was deemed to be false.

Jan. 8 — Officer Levi Herring contacted a woman in the 6300 block of North Randall regarding a text she received from her ex-husband about child custody issues.

Jan. 8 — Officer Levi Herring was contacted by a father in the 1800 block of East Charleston who had caught his son with cigarettes. Officer collected the cigarettes and told the son to stop using them.    

Jan. 8 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Brandon Green checked a residence in the 1700 block of East Broadbeck for two registered offenders showing this as their registered address. They did not locate the individuals.

Jan. 8 — Officer Dale Coffman took a report of a dispute between a landlord and a tenant over property and vacation of a residence in the 6300 block of North East Parkview.

Jan. 8 — Officer Randy Browning arrested Adan Torres in municipal court for a five-day court commit.

Jan. 8 — Officer Dale Coffman responded to a suspicious person in the 900 block of East 53rd taking pictures of a woman. The officer identified the subject.

Jan. 8 — Officer Dustin Belton returned a call to KAKE-TV regarding a 10-minute power outage earlier in the day. Dispatch had received several calls about the outage, which was bordered by I-135 and Broadway and 53rd and 61st.

Jan. 8 — Officer Dustin Belton found a small, clear, plastic zip-lock bag in a breezeway of a business in the 900 block of East 61st North. The bag contained a white, cloudy, clear crystal-like substance. The bag and its contents, a small amount of which tested positive for meth, were submitted as found property.

Jan. 8 — Officer Christopher Shields checked a woman walking north in the 5300 block of North Broadway. She told the officer she had left the Lord's Diner shelter and was headed to Newton. Officer transported her to the Newton truck stop.

Jan. 7 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to a business alarm in the 100 block of West 61st North. The manager advised everything was fine. The alarm was deemed false.

Jan. 7 — Officer Chuck Trimmell and Lt. Henry Spurlock responded to a residential alarm in the 1800 block of East Ravena. They found the residence to be secure, and determined the alarm was false.

Jan. 7 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the road in the 5700 block of North I-135. The driver had pulled over to use his cellphone.

Jan. 7 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a disturbance in the 700 block of East Beaumont. Customer was unhappy with the cost of work being performed at a business. The customer agreed to pay for the work already done and left.

Jan. 7 — Officer Dale Coffman and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to assist fire and Valley Center police with a possible house fire in the 400 block of East 63rd North. They did not find a fire but noticed steam from a furnace.

Jan. 7 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of East 63rd North. A citizen had been involved in a verbal disturbance with another parent at the bus stop at Arapaho and Sequoya earlier in the day regarding a child's behavior on the bus.

Jan. 7 — Officer Brandon Green reported that Jonathan Goerzen was arrested for an outstanding Park City warrant.

Jan. 7 — Officers Dale Coffman and Brandon Green responded to the 6300 block of North Broadway to check the welfare of a pedestrian in dark clothing pushing a carriage. They did not locate the pedestrian.

Jan. 7 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to the 2300 block of East 69th North for a vehicle on the shoulder of the road. A motorist reported traveling west on 69th North and his vehicle caught fire. The vehicle was heavily damaged and towed from the scene.

Jan. 7 — Officer Brandon Green checked a vehicle on the side of the road in the 10000 block of North I-135. The vehicle was stickered Jan. 3, and the officer had it towed by North End.

Jan. 7 — Officers Dale Coffman and Brandon Green responded to a verbal disturbance in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. A woman had asked her son to leave her residence. Officers gave the son a ride to Wichita.

Jan. 7 — Officer Brandon Green stickered a vehicle parked on the shoulder of the road in the 10100 block of North I-135.

Jan. 7 —Officer Dustin Belton and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a report of a possible suspicious person in the 1900 block of East Ravena. A man said his dog had run to the house and he possibly heard voices coming from the house. Officers checked the house and found nothing out of the ordinary.

Jan. 6 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Richard Wolff responded to an alarm in the 1500 block of East 61st North. The building was secure, and the alarm was deemed to be false.

Jan. 6 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in looking for a stolen iPhone in the 5100 block of North Hydraulic. They did not locate the phone.

Jan. 6 — Officers Duane Schrag and Dustin Belton responded to a domestic violence disturbance that started as a 911 hang-up call in the 2500 block of East Egret Flight Court. They arrested George Barrier Jr. on a charge of domestic battery.

Jan. 6 — Officer Dustin Belton began to check two vehicles behind a business in the 6200 block of North Jacksonville when two employees left, saying they were working late due to training.

Jan. 6 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a general alarm in the 5100 block of North Broadway. He checked the business and determined the alarm was false.

Jan. 6 — Officers Dustin Belton and Duane Schrag checked the welfare of a man in the 6300 block of North Ulysses. The subject had sent possibly suicidal text messages the previous night and had not arrived for work that morning. They found the subject, and he was OK.

Jan. 5 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell responded to an injury rollover accident in the center median on I-135 between 77th North and 85th North. They discovered the vehicle had been in a rollover accident Jan. 4 and left there by the owner.

Jan. 5 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was dispatched to an alarm in the 6700 block of North Interurban. He was disregarded by Valley Center police.

Jan. 5 — Officer Chuck Trimmell was dispatched to an alarm in the 6800 block of North Mosley. He was disregarded by Valley Center police.

Jan. 5 — Officer Chuck Trimmell responded to KHP in the 3200 block of East 45th North to pick up a license plate previously reported as stolen. He submitted the plate to P&E since the owner had already replaced it.

Jan. 5 — Officer Richard Wolff responded to the 1400 block of East Evanston where a citizen had found a white glove containing several IDs and bank cards belonging to a woman and one Master Card belonging to a man. Officer contacted each party about the found property.

Jan. 5 — Officer Chuck Trimmell took a report from a business in the 6000 block of North Broadway where a known suspect had presented an insufficient fund check for $4,500.30. The business completed all of the necessary insufficient funds paperwork and sent it to the suspect. The business allowed the suspect to make a payment in November and has not received a second payment. Officer advised the business it was a civil issue since it allowed the suspect to make a payment with the agreement of future payments.

Jan. 5 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz checked the welfare of an elderly woman driving a vehicle with a flat tire that was shredding near Hydraulic and Charleston. They contacted the driver near 61st North and North West Parkview, where they changed the tire and gave her directions to Bear Tire.

Jan. 5 — Officer Edwyn Diaz booked Carl D. Bennett into the Sedgwick County jail on a Park City municipal warrant.

Jan. 5 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell assisted a motorist in the 6200 block of North Jacksonville. The motorist's vehicle was stalling out, and a wrecker was on the way. Officers stood by until the wrecker arrived.

Jan. 5 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a report of a vehicle parked across a crosswalk in the 6000 block of North Independence. He was unable to locate the vehicle.

Jan. 5 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a burglary in the 1800 block of East Cedar Tree. The victim said sometime between Dec. 19 and Jan. 3, an unknown person entered her attached garage. They removed four wheels, tires, ceramic tile and an air bubble.

Jan. 5 — Officer Levi Herring looked for subjects who reportedly struck a vehicle as it drove by in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. The officer contacted the reporting party. All he knew is that the suspects looked like fifth- or sixth-grade kids.

Jan. 5 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to possible domestic violence in the 6500 block of North Randall. Officers contacted the reporting party, who said another person reported being pushed down by a known suspect.    

Jan. 5 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Levi Herring responded to a business alarm in the 5500 block of North Mill Heights Drive. They contacted an employee and determined the alarm was false.

Jan. 5 — Officers from Valley Center and Kechi responded to a disturbance call in the 6500 block of North Randall while Park City officers were busy with an accident and drunk driver.

Jan. 5 — Officer Duane Schrag took a report of a motorist being struck from behind while he was driving north in the 6000 block of North I-135.

Jan. 5 — Officer Dustin Belton responded to the 6000 block of North I-135 where Ashley Joy reported falling asleep while driving and rear-ending another vehicle. She was arrested on a charge of DUI. Sedgwick County jail detention staff found several pieces of drug paraphernalia on Joy, and the charges were amended to hold for a sheriff's warrant.

Jan. 5 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a report of a barking dog in the 1500 block of East Prairie Hill. He was unable to locate the dog, and the reporting party did not want to be contacted.
