Jan. 4 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to the 7700 block of North Wild West Drive to assist KHP in locating victims of an accident that happened in the 8000 block of North I-135. KHP worked the accident.

Jan. 4 — Officer Richard Wolff assisted a motorist who lost control of their vehicle and slid into a ditch in the 7600 block of North I-135. AAA removed the vehicle.

Jan. 4 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff assisted a motorist who lost control of their vehicle and slid into a ditch in the 2200 block of East 61st North. North End Auto removed the vehicle.

Jan. 4 — Officers Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz were dispatched to assist KHP with a rollover accident in the  7700 block of North I-135. They were disregarded by KHP.

Jan. 4 — Officers Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by supplying caution tape for a rolled-over vehicle left on the scene in the 8300 block of North I-135.

Jan. 4 — Officers Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz and Sgt. Trent Johnson were dispatched to assist KHP by looking for a rollover accident on I-135 between 61st North and 53rd North. They looked along I-135 from the 8300 block north to I-235 but did not find the accident.

Jan. 4 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff responded to a general burglary alarm at Witch Ditch in the 7800 block of North Hartman Arena Drive. A key holder on the scene checked the building. Everything looked OK, and the alarm was deemed false.

Jan. 4 — Officers Dale Coffman and Levi Herring responded to assist EMS and fire with a fall at a residence in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. The subject refused transport.

Jan. 4 — Officers Levi Herring and Dale Coffman responded to the 6300 block of North East Parkview regarding child custody issues. The calling party reported the mother of his child would not give him the child. Before officers arrived, the mother gave the child to the calling party, who left the premises.

Jan. 4 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to a report of footprints in the snow from a neighbor's house to her driveway in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. The calling party left for work before the officer arrived. He located the footprints but found no evidence of any criminal activity.

Jan. 3 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff responded to a report of juveniles skateboarding on someone else's property in the 1200 block of East Gainesville. Officers contacted the juveniles' parents, and the matter was settled.

Jan. 3 — Officer Richard Wolff checked an abandoned vehicle on the side of the road on 101st North. The vehicle was red tagged with today's date.

Jan. 3 — Officer Dale Coffman checked a vehicle in the ditch in the 5300 block of North Hydraulic. It was unoccupied and not a hazard.

Jan. 3 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a 911 hang-up call at 81 Speedway, 7700 N. Broadway. It is a continuing problem, and everything was OK.

Jan. 3 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officers Duane Schrag and Christopher Shields assisted KHP with a semitrailer that had jackknifed and was blocking both northbound lanes in the 5300 block of North I-135.

Jan. 3 — Officer Duane Schrag checked a vehicle that kept flashing its bright lights at him in the 900 block of East 61st North. The driver was trying to figure out some of the controls on their rental car and not trying to attract the officer's attention.

Jan. 3 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted Valley Center police with two Westar Energy trucks that had slid off the road into a ditch in the 600 block of West 69th North. Westar employees said a tow truck was on the way, and everybody was OK.

Jan. 3 — Officer Christopher Shields assisted motorists who had slid off the highway in the 8400 block and 7800 block of North I-135. Everyone was OK, and help was on the way.

Jan. 2 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell checked on a semitrailer stalled in the westbound turning lane in the 6100 block of North Broadway. A  tow truck arrived, and the vehicle was moved.

Jan. 2 — Officer Chuck Trimmell checked a vehicle in the 1200 block of East Denver for a parking violation. He contacted the owner to move the vehicle, and it was moved.

Jan. 2 — Officer Dale Coffman and Sedgwick County sheriff responded to a business alarm at Bond Truck Wash in the 700 block of East Beaumont. The key holder was still on the scene, and the alarm was deemed false.

Jan. 2 — Officer Dale Coffman responded with Kechi police to a key fob panic alarm in the 1900 block of Cedar Tree Court. They contacted the residents, and everything was OK. The alarm was deemed false.

Jan. 2 — Officers Brandon Green and Levi Herring found marijuana inside a vehicle during a traffic stop in the 6000 block of North Hydraulic. They referred the case to prosecution.

Jan. 2 — Officer Brandon Green spoke with a woman who called the station about an earlier traffic stop involving her son. The officer gave her the information and she was pleased.

Jan. 2 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Dustin Belton assisted Sedgwick County sheriff by looking for a rolling disturbance near the intersection of I-135 and I-235. The cased was turned over to the sheriff's office.

Jan. 1 —Officer Chuck Trimmell followed-up on a stolen vehicle from Wichita at the request of a citizen. The vehicle had not been found.

Jan. 1 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Chuck Trimmell responded to a possible suicide in the 6300 block of North Upchurch Ave. They spoke with the calling party, who was ill. EMS took over the call.

Jan. 1 — Officer Edwyn Diaz went to 501 E. 63rd North to contact a citizen at the request of Barton County Sheriff's Office about a possible stolen tag or vehicle. Officer found no one at home.

Jan. 1 — Officer Chuck Trimmell stopped to check a truck and trailer in the road of the 800 block of East 61st. The driver said the trailer came loose, and someone was on the way to help. After help arrived, the trailer was hooked back up, and the driver left.

Jan. 1 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to an injury accident in the 5600 block of North Broadway. A vehicle left the road and struck a telephone pole.

Jan. 1 — Officer Brandon Green checked the welfare of a person in the 6300 block  of North Upchurch. The subject had checked out of a hospital without removing an IV and was OK.

Jan. 1 — Officer Brandon Green responded to 501 E. 63rd North to check the welfare of a 15-year-old male. The calling party was unsure of the actual address inside the mobile home park, and the officer did not locate the subject.

Jan. 1 — Officer Levi Herring stopped a vehicle in the 900 block of East 53rd North on a traffic violation. He arrested a passenger, Jeremy Ticse, on a charge of possession of marijuana and on a Sedgwick County warrant. The officer arrested the driver, Mark Oakman, on charges of driving while suspended and no insurance.

Jan. 1 — Officer Brandon Green took a miscellaneous report from the 1600 block of East Gary. The calling party said she came home and her shower was on. Nothing was missing, and there were no signs of forced entry.

Jan. 1 — Officers Dustin Belton and Christopher Shields responded to a general alarm in the 6700 block of North Tarrytown. The house appeared to be secure, and the alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 31 — Officer Richard Wolff responded to a non-injury accident in the 1200 block of East Beaumont. The driver lost control on the snow-packed road and slid into the curb, causing minor damage to her vehicle.

Dec. 31 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted animal control with a vicious dog report in the 1200 block of East Arlington. The dog was captured and transported to the Kansas Humane Society.

Dec. 31 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Richard Wolff and Chief Phil Bostian responded to a report of loud music coming from a residence at 501 E. 63rd North. The homeowner answered the front door and was told to turn down the music and leave it turned down.

Dec. 31 — Officer Richard Wolff took a request of extra patrol from a business owner who saw a suspicious vehicle in the area.

Dec. 31 — Officer Brandon Green took a report of an accident at City Hall. A person allegedly tripped on a floor rug and possibly dislocated their shoulder.

Dec. 31 — Officer Dale Coffman responded to a burglary in the 1500 block of East Broadbeck by possible known suspects. Auto parts and tools were taken sometime between Dec. 24 and Dec. 31.

Dec. 31 — Officer Brandon Green took a disorderly conduct report from a residence in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. The calling party was receiving phone calls from a blocked number. A PFA was in place but had been cancelled due to a technical error. Officer advised a new PFA may be possible Jan. 2.

Dec. 31 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall took a report of a non-injury accident in Wendy's parking lot in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. The calling party said another driver had backed into her vehicle and left the scene. Officers found the other vehicle in the Comfort Inn parking lot and cited the driver for multiple traffic violations. Both vehicles were able to be driven.

Dec. 31 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a complaint of loud noise in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. The calling party reported loud music coming from a neighbor's house. The calling party was upset that police had not done anything the last three times he called. Officers drove by the residence and heard nothing but their own vehicles. The calling party did not wish to be contacted.

Dec. 31 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a citizen's report of an alarm at the Kansas Pavilions in the 1200 block of East 85th North. He discovered it was a false fire alarm.

Dec. 31 — Officer Dale Coffman arrested Syrita N. Davila in the 5300 block of North Broadway on a charge of domestic violence.

Dec. 31 — Officer Dustin Belton assisted Kechi police with a traffic stop in the 1300 block of East Kechi Road.

Dec. 31 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Kechi police with an alarm in the 7900 block of East Caribou Place in Bel Aire. The Bel Aire officer was on another call. The alarm was false.

Dec. 31 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Valley Center police with a complaint of loud noise in the 100 block of South Colby.

Dec. 30 — Officers Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz assisted Wichita police in checking for a wanted person in the 2500 block of East Egret Court. They did not locate the person.

Dec. 30 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall checked a possible suicidal juvenile in the 6600 block of North Kerman. The juvenile appeared to be fine and in good spirits. Officers notified a parent.

Dec. 30 — Officer Brandon Green and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a report of a loud noise at a window of a residence in the 2500 block of East Egret Flight. Officers checked but found no footprints or anyone in the area.

Dec. 30 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Brandon Green responded to a report from a Wichita resident of a stolen vehicle that was in Park City. Officers checked the 6300 block of North West Parkview and the surrounding area, but did not locate the vehicle.

Dec. 30 — Officers Duane Schrag and Dustin Belton looked in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic for a man wearing black reportedly walking in the middle of the road. They did not locate the subject.

Dec. 29 —Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff responded to a general alarm in the 6200 block of North Hydraulic. They spoke with an employee who had not been able to turn off the alarm in a timely manner. Everything was OK, and the alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 29 — Officer Chuck Trimmell stopped to assist a motorist with an inoperable vehicle in the 800 block of East 53rd. The vehicle was moved out of traffic, and the driver said help was on the way.

Dec. 29 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz checked for a juvenile in the 5300 block of North Broadway regarding an earlier incident. A person said the juvenile was probably at her mother's in El Dorado and has not been home since the incident.

Dec. 29 — Officer Richard Wolff took a larceny report from the 6100 block of North Independence. The calling party said an unknown person had removed the Kansas tag from his vehicle sometime during the last two weeks. The tag was entered into NCIC.

Dec. 29 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Levi Herring answered a citizen's questions in the 500 block of East 63rd about an eviction notice he was served.  

Dec. 29 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a general alarm at a business in the 300 block of West 61st North. The building was secure, and the alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 29 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a hold-up alarm in the 400 block of East 61st. The business was closed, and the alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 29 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 200 block of West 53rd North. They located drug paraphernalia in the car. The paraphernalia was submitted as found property, and the juveniles in the vehicle were released to their parents.

Dec. 29 —Officer Dustin Belton responded to a barking dog report in the 1800 block of East Charleston. The officer neither saw nor heard a barking dog.

Dec. 25 — Lt. Hobert Capps assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in checking two suspects asleep in a vehicle in the 6800 block of North Hydraulic.

Dec. 25 — Lt. Hobert Capps took a report of a sexual offense in the 1500 block of East Frontenac. A female reported a white male juvenile, approximately 14 years old, knocked on the door and requested sexual intercourse. He then touched her breast before she shoved him away and closed the door.

Dec. 25 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a general alarm in the 6200 block of North Broadway. The reporting party arrived and found the front sliding doors off their track and standing wide open. Officers checked the business and everything appeared to be OK. The alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 25 — Sgt. Keith Goodall found a vehicle with an open door parked in a driveway at a residence in the 6300 block of North East Parkview. He spoke with the resident who found nothing missing.

Dec. 25 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted a motorist in the 4300 block of northbound I-135 when the motorist's truck blew a tire. The officer gave the driver a ride to his business in Park City.

Dec. 25 — Sgt. Keith Goodall found a vehicle with an open trunk in a driveway in the 6200 block of North West Parkview. He spoke with the resident, who said nothing was missing.

Dec. 25 — Officer Dale Coffman assisted a motorist near 61st North and Hydraulic who was trying to get to Valley Center.

Dec. 25 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted Sedgwick County sheriff in checking the 5300 block of North Hydraulic for a person with an injured dog in the road. They found the person and took the dog to the Humane Society.

Dec. 25 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted several people in a van change a flat tire in the 5000 block of North I-135.

Dec. 25 —Officer Christopher Shields checked in the 12300 block of North I-135 for a possible drunk driver. Officer contacted the calling party who said the suspect vehicle had last been seen south of the north junction. Officer relayed this information to dispatch.

Dec. 25 — Officers Dustin Belton and Christopher Shields, along with Kechi police, checked the 1100 block of East Denver for a vehicle that had fled from Harvey County and possibly went back to this residence. They did not locate the vehicle.
