Dec. 28 — Officer Richard Wolff responded to check for an intoxicated driver at the gas pumps of Presto Travel Center in the 6100 block of North Air Cap Drive. The subject left prior to the officer's arrival.

Dec. 28 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff responded to a general burglar alarm in the 5800 block of North Prospect. They were disregarded by the alarm company prior to their arrival.

Dec. 28 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff checked a business in the 5700 block of North Chuzy Drive after seeing a vehicle parked on the property. They contacted the cleaning company on duty, and everything was OK.

Dec. 28 — Officers Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz responded to road rage in the 1600 block of East 61st North. Both parties agreed they would avoid future confrontations.  

Dec. 28 — Officer Dale Coffman took a report of a runaway child from the 2600 block of East Fairchild. The child was found in Wichita.

Dec. 28 — Officer Levi Herring stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 6300 block of North I-135. He arrested Tomas Ituarte on a Mulvane warrant.

Dec. 28 — Sgt. Keith Goodall followed up on a burglary report in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck by calling the reporting party to obtain serial numbers for the stolen items.

Dec. 28 — Officer Dale Coffman checked a business in the 5500 block of North Hydraulic and secured an open door on an outbuilding.

Dec. 28 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 5300 block of North I-135. They arrested Nathaniel J. Pough after officers detected the odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle.  

Dec. 28 — Officer Duane Schrag responded to a report of domestic violence in the 6400 block of North East Parkview. He determined the call to be a child custody issue, along with a possible abuse case in Wichita.

Dec. 28 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Wichita police by picking up a juvenile involved in a case in the 6400 block of North East Parkview. Officer transported the juvenile to the Wichita Children's Home.  

Dec. 28 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted EMS in the 6500 block of North Hydraulic. The medical call was for a person with a nose bleed.

Dec. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a report of a lost German Sheppard in the 1800 block of East Beaumont. The dog was not vicious, and the calling party will keep it for animal control until Monday.

Dec. 27 — Officers Richard Wolff and Edwyn Diaz assisted EMS in the 2500 block of East Charleston. EMS transported the patient to Wesley.

Dec. 27 — Officer Richard Wolff provided traffic control for a motorist with an inoperable vehicle in the 800 block of East 61st North.

Dec. 27 — Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a complaint of juveniles on skateboards in the 900 block of East Connolly Court. They did not find the juveniles.

Dec. 27 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff were dispatched to assist highway patrol by checking the area near 53rd North and I-135 for a possible disturbance involving a vehicle northbound on the interstate. They were disregarded prior to arrival.  

Dec. 27 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a general alarm in the 300 block of West 61st North. The building was secure, with a cat running around inside.

Dec. 27 — Officer Dale Coffman to check on a suspicious person in the 6600 block of North Wendell. He was disregarded at the front door of the residence by the calling party, who had a Kirby vacuum cleaner salesperson giving a demonstration.

Dec. 27 — Officer Brandon Green responded to the 1200 block of East Broadbeck to pick up a list of items stolen from a Dec. 26 burglary.

Dec. 27 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a suspicious person in the 6300 block of Chisholm Pointe. The calling party said at 7:30 p.m. someone knocked on her door and tried the handle. She did not see who it was, but thinks it was a man

Dec. 27 — Officer Brandon Green responded to assist EMS in checking a person with difficulty breathing at 928 E. 61st North.

Dec. 27 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Christopher Shields assisted Valley Center police with a loud party call in the 100 block of South Colby. Six people were arrested, with Shields helping with transport.

Dec. 27 — Sgt. Trent Johnson and Officer Christopher Shields arrested Tammy Hollingsworth in the 6500 block of North Randall on a charge of parole violation.

Dec. 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz spoke with a person in the 1200 block of East Beaumont who reported strange behavior from two known acquaintances, believing they were up to no good.

Dec. 26 — Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a larceny in the 1300 block of East Arlington. An unknown person rummaged through the reporting party's backyard and taken items.

Dec. 26 — Lt. Hobert Capps took a report of a lost registration sticker off a 1998 GMC pickup from the 600 block of East 49th North.

Dec. 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz took a forgery report from the 5200 block of North Valentine. The reporting party said an unknown person obtained one of her personal checks, forged her name and wrote a check in the amount of $229 to a doctor at the Park City Senior Center.

Dec. 26 — Lt. Hobert Capps and Officer Edwyn Diaz responded to a burglary in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. The residence had been entered through a rear door and burglarized by an unknown person or persons. Several televisions, leather coats, shoes and other clothing were taken with an unknown amount of loss. Officers took photos and collected evidence.

Dec. 26 — Officers Dale Coffman, Brandon Green and Levi Herring and officers from Kechi and Bel Aire responded to disorderly conduct in the 5900 block of North Air Cap Drive. They arrested Scott Edward Maitland of Fort Wayne, Ind., on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Dec. 26 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a disturbance between two people in the 6500 block of North Randall. One of the subjects was served a no-trespass order and given a ride to another location due to her intoxication level.

Dec. 26 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a burglary in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. A possibly known person stole several items from the residence between 9:30 a.m. and noon Dec. 23.

Dec. 26 — Officer Dale Coffman noticed a vandalized vehicle in the 1500 block of East Evanston. The vehicle's owner refused to file a report.

Dec. 26 — Officer Levi Herring assisted a citizen in the 6100 block of North Hydraulic. A person needed to know who to speak to regarding child custody issues. The other person lives in Wichita, and the officer advised the subject to contact a Wichita police substation.

Dec. 26 — Officers Levi Herring and Dale Coffman stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation at the 61st North on-ramp to southbound I-135. After detecting an odor of marijuana from inside the vehicle, officers issued citations to the occupants and released them.

Dec. 26 — Officers Dustin Belton and Christopher Shields responded to a suspicious person getting in and out of a vehicle in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. The calling party thought they might be burglary suspects from earlier. Officers found the vehicle legally parked, with no one around.

Dec. 26 — Officer Dustin Belton removed debris from the road in the 1000 block of East Evanston.

Dec. 26 — Officer Christopher Shields responded to the 5900 block of North Air Cap Drive and picked up video for a case.

Dec. 24 — Officer Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a residential alarm in the 6300 block of North Randall. The homeowner told officers it was an accident.

Dec. 24 — Officer Dale Coffman reported the arrest of Joshua Lynn Coleman in Harvey County on a Park City bench warrant.

Dec. 24 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Dale Coffman responded to disorderly conduct in the 6500 block of North Randall. A woman reported that another woman was being disorderly with her actions at this location. The reporting party refused to sign a complaint, and the suspect was not located.

Dec. 24 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Dale Coffman responded to a business alarm in the 5500 block of North Mill Heights Drive. The building was secure, and the alarm deemed false.

Dec. 24 — Sgt. Keith Goodall assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with an alarm in the 9000 block of North Hydraulic. Officers made contact at the home, and the alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 26 — Officer Edwyn Diaz and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to an assault in the 6100 block of North Prospect Road. The subject reported being grabbed and pushed by another truck driver about who arrived first to have their trucks off loaded. Neither party wanted to press charges.

Dec. 24 — Officer Dale Coffman responded to domestic battery in the 5300 block of North Broadway. A man reported that his wife tried to strike him with her open hand but missed and struck the baby, causing no injury.

Dec. 24 — Officers Christopher Shields and Dustin Belton assisted Wichita police with an injury accident at East 45th North and Hillside. A vehicle left the road and ended up in the ditch.

Dec. 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Sedgwick County sheriff with a non-injury accident at 101st North and Hydraulic.

Dec. 23 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Richard Wolff provided traffic control while a port-a-potty was removed from the intersection of 53rd North and Broadway.

Dec. 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell reported the arrest of Joseph I. Jones in Marion County on a Park City warrant.

Dec. 23 — Officer Richard Wolff reported the arrest of Misti D. Tucker in Lyon County on a Park City warrant.

Dec. 23 — Officers Richard Wolff and Chuck Trimmell checked the 4900 block of North Broadway for a reported drunken driver in a white van who left in an unknown direction from a business.

Dec. 23 — Officers Richard Wolff and Chuck Trimmell, along with Lt. Hobert Capps and Lt. Henry Spurlock, checked the area in the 6200 block of North Millsboro for two men on foot who reportedly had taken mail out of a mailbox.

Dec. 23 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Richard Wolff and Lt. Hobert Capps responded to a report of suspicious people in the 4600 block of North Hydraulic. Three individuals in a pickup were reportedly smoking illegal narcotics in a parking lot and dumping narcotics on the ground. They left prior to the officers' arrival. Officers checked the Wyndham Creek addition for the vehicle, but could not locate it. They found a rolled tobacco cigarette in the area where the vehicle had been parked.

Dec. 23 — Officer Chuck Trimmell assisted Valley Center police in checking businesses and neighborhoods east and west of I-135, north and south of 61st North, from Broadway to Hydraulic, trying to locate a missing person from El Dorado. The subject's cellphone was pinging at 61st North and 125th North, and Sedgwick County sheriff asked officers to check the area of 61st North and I-135. Officers were unable to locate the missing person or his vehicle.

Dec. 23 — Lt. Hobert Capps assisted a person who walked into the station with a civil complaint. Officer referred the person to the appropriate agency to file a report.

Dec. 23 — Lt. Hobert Capps took a civil complaint at the station. He recommended to the subject that she work with her attorney to resolve the matter. Officer advised police could take a miscellaneous report at a later time, if necessary.

Dec. 23 — Sgt. Keith Goodall accompanied a woman to a residence in the 1200 block of East Charleston so she could get some property and not violate a no-contact order.

Dec. 23 — Officer Brandon Green responded to a non-injury accident in the 8100 block of North Hartman Drive.

Dec. 23 — Officer Brandon Green noticed an open trunk on a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 1300 block of East Denver. He contacted the owner who shut the trunk.

Dec. 23 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted Bel Aire police with a death notification in the 4200 block of North Country Lane.

Dec. 22 — Officers Edwyn Diaz and Richard Wolff took a miscellaneous report in the 5100 block of North Irving. A man reported purchasing two commemorative coins, valued at $3,390, from Diamond Shopping in Texas. The man received the coins and changed his mind, sending the coins back to the company in the next day's mail. He said he has not heard from the business regarding his refund.

Dec. 22 — Officer Chuck Trimmell stopped to check two vehicles parked on the side of the road in the 1500 block of East 53rd. One vehicle had stalled, and the driver of the other vehicle had stopped to help. The driver of the stalled vehicle said everything was fine and he would be on his way once his vehicle cooled down.

Dec. 22 — Officers Chuck Trimmell and Edwyn Diaz responded to a hold-up alarm in the 1200 block of East Broadbeck. They spoke with a woman as she was leaving the residence. She said she tried to call her alarm company after she hit the button on her key fob, but did not have the correct phone number. She said everything was fine. The alarm was deemed false.

Dec. 22 — Sgt. Keith Goodall and Officer Levi Herring responded to the 1200 block of East Charleston where a woman said she has a no-contact order with a man at this location and wanted to retrieve property from the house. She found the locks had been changed and agreed to come back another time.

Dec. 22 — Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a business alarm in the 1500 block of East 61st North. Officer contacted employees there and assisted them in turning off the alarm.

Dec. 22 — Sgt. Keith Goodall checked the 1200 block of East 61st North for a possible drunken driver but did not locate a suspect vehicle.

Dec. 22 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall responded to a report of a suicidal person in the 5900 block of North Prospect. They spoke with the man, who had been examined by EMS. The man advised the comments he made were just to upset his ex-wife. The man refused treatment by EMS.

Dec. 22 — Officer Levi Herring and Sgt. Keith Goodall were dispatched to the 4600 block of North Hydraulic to check the welfare of children who had been outside unsupervised all day and running around the complex. They spoke with a 22-year-old woman who said she had been watching the children all day.
