Police reports

Nov. 13 — Officer Virginia Crice responded to a report of an injured deer at 3000 E. Fifth. The officer euthanized the deer.

Nov. 13 — Officers Greg Jackson and Virginia Crice responded to a report of an injured deer at 2500 E. Fifth. The injured deer needed to be shot again.

Nov. 13 — Officer Greg Jackson assisted the sheriff's office at 61st North and Armstrong.

Nov. 13 — Officer Virginia Crice answered some questions on child custody.

Nov. 13 — Officer Duane Schrag spoke to a citizen about illegal fireworks being shot in the  area of 9129 N. Seneca. Extra patrols will be provided in this area.

Nov. 13 — Officer Duane Schrag took a report of battery at 337 N. Valley Park Drive. An investigation is ongoing.

Nov. 12 — Officer Virginia Crice assisted the sheriff's office with a disturbance at 53rd North and Meridian.

Nov. 12 — Officers Jessie Clifton and Jason Easley responded to a report of a suspicious character at 5036 W. 77th North.

Nov. 12 — Officer Jason Easley assisted the sheriff's office at 109th North and Meridian.

Nov. 12 — Officer Jason Easley responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle at 100 S. Abilene. Everything was OK.

Nov. 12 — Officer Jason Easley responded to a report of a suicidal individual. The officer reported the juvenile was upset with his stepfather.

Nov. 11 — Officer Justin Longhofer conducted a business check at 121 S. Meridian.

Nov. 11 — Officer Justin Longhofer conducted a business check at 143 S. Meridian.

Nov. 11 — Officer Justin Longhofer conducted a business check at 101 W. Industrial.

Nov. 11 — Officer Justin Longhofer responded to a report of horses being out at Broadway and Ford. The officer located the owner of the two horses.

Nov. 11 — Officer Virginia Crice took a report of criminal damage to a mailbox at 122 N. Park.

Nov. 11 — Officers Jessie Clifton and Jason Easley assisted EMS at 701 S. Meridian.

Nov. 11 — Officer Jason Easley responded to a report of a vicious dog at 608 Parkway. The officer was unable to locate the animal.

Nov. 11 — Officers Jessie Clifton and Jason Easley responded to a report of suspicious characters at 758 N. Meridian. The officers located four juveniles in the area who said they were “playing." Officers released them to their parents.

Nov. 11 — Officers Jessie Clifton and Jason Easley conducted a building check at 560 N. Park. Everything was OK.

Nov. 11 — Officers Jessie Clifton and Jason Easley took a report of criminal damage to property at 629 Deerfield. There was about $380 worth of damage done to the front door by unknown suspects.

Nov. 10 — Officer Douglas Fletcher responded to a report of a runaway at the police station, 616 E. Fifth. The child was with a parent.

Nov. 10 — Officer Douglas Fletcher stood by to prevent a disturbance at 522 Hickory Lane while a person gathered belongings from a home.

Nov. 10 — Officer Jessie Clifton took fingerprints at the police station, 616 E. Fifth.

Nov. 10 — Officer Jessie Clifton checked for a dog on the loose at 1065 Meadow Road.

Nov. 10 — Officer Jessie Clifton attempted to retrieve a video of stolen property dropped off at the Kwik Shop, 110 E. Fifth.

Nov. 9 — Officer Greg Jackson responded to a driving complaint at Fifth and Kessler. The reporting party stated a vehicle was driving through yards.

Nov. 9 — Officer Greg Jackson assisted Park City police on a foot pursuit at 53rd North and Arkansas. A male was arrested.

Nov. 9 — Officer Greg Jackson took a report of three people writing worthless checks at 801 S. Meridian.

Nov. 9 — Officers Jessie Clifton and Greg Jackson responded to a report of theft at 120 Valley Creek. The officer took a report of criminal use of financial cards valued about $8,000.

Nov. 9 — Officer Duane Schrag arrested Eddie Schmied on charges of multiple traffic misdemeanors and obstructing the legal process.

Nov. 9 — Officer Duane Schrag took a criminal report of threats at the police station, 616 E. Fifth.

Nov. 9 — Officer Jessie Clifton checked on a disabled vehicle at 9800 N. Broadway. The driver had help on the way.

Nov. 8 — Officer J.C. Kirk assisted the sheriff's office with an alarm at 901 E. 45th North. The alarm was false.

Nov. 8 — Officers Greg Jackson and Virginia Crice assisted the sheriff's office with a one-vehicle non-injury accident at 9600 N. Meridian.

Nov. 8 — Officer Greg Jackson assisted the sheriff's office by checking a suspicious character at 1051 W. 85th North.

Nov. 8 — Officer Greg Jackson assisted the fire department at 111 N. Dexter.

Nov. 8 — Officer Duane Schrag assisted a citizen at the police station, 616 E. Fifth, by providing fingerprints.

Nov. 8 — Officer Duane Schrag checked a one-vehicle non-injury accident at 8900 N. Interurban.

Nov. 7 — Officers Duane Schrag and Virginia Crice checked on a suspicious vehicle at 1020 Cottonwood. The suspect was looking for a lost dog.

Nov. 7 — Officer Virginia Crice assisted Wichita police with an incident that occurred in Wichita.

Nov. 7 — Officer Duane Schrag checked a reported injured dog at Fifth and Meridian. The dog was not approachable and ran away.
